Great product easy to use and sets up fast

I've used this a few different ways now, molding mini-verse pieces for my sister, making texture stamps, custom handles on a couple of small things, and I was lucky to have had it when I suddenly lost my 17yo cat to make an impression of his paw before I buried him.I'm going to forever be grateful that I had that on hand and that it was so easy to mix and make the impression so I could keep a piece of him with me.

I liked this mold making kit because it was basically mixing two pieces of play dough together, pressing it on what you wanted to make a mold of, then giving it an hour. However... it IS like play dough in that you can get those imperfections if you don't push the material into all the crevices correctly, which sounds easy but I had some trouble. Obviously the paint-like mold making options wouldn't have this problem, but they are messy and some can take 8 hours to make a mold. So there are pros and cons, but I overall like it and think it's great for some projects. It's not messy, it's quick, but you might have to make a few molds to get it "right." (Note: the mold does have a slightly greasy feel to it, but that didn't impact any of the products I made with it)

First off I was very disappointed at the amount for the price. I molded a small decorative pan and barely had enough to cover it. That said the product is easy to mix, but a little tough to spread evenly. I kept getting little tears I had to try and thicken because it starts off quite soft. If using this to mold a larger object you will definitely want to refrigerate as per instructions to extend work time. The mold came out with a lot of creases that were my fault. It unfortunately also had lots of little divots that look like they came from air bubbles. I was very disappointed but will try once more.

So recently I had a dog pass away that was my whole world we had her cremated and they gave us a keepsake paw prints. I’m going through a process where me and my husband may separate and he gets to take the keepsake with him and he gave me the ashes. I was looking for something to mold the paw print without damaging it. I seen this product online and thought I’d give it a try I definitely was very nervous about breaking the paw print However I followed the instructions and it was super simple and it didn’t even take an hour to cure into the silicone mold it gave the mold imprints with a lots of detail. Definitely love this had great results was easy to use when doing some thing like this definitely worth the money

I purchased this to make molds of the sway bar bushings on my car. Was able to easily mix the putty, surround the original bushing, easily remove the old one and pour polyurethane into the molds. They came out perfectly and with ease. Release spray will make that process even easier but is not entirely necessary. The kit came with enough to do all bushings front and rear. Highly recommend this stuff.
