Getting some relief, but...
It is a little early to review these wrist supports, but I am getting NAGS from Amazon and from the Vendor. People with carpal tunnel like me use these to avoid a surgery that may have an iffy outcome, incapacitate you for 12 weeks and then leave you unable to use your hands when trying to life heavy objects. When sleeping, Carpal tunnel sufferers are often painfully awakened with their hands "asleep" and tingling. These wrist supports are designed to prevent this. They have a spline that prevents the wrist from bending and aggravating the carpal tunnel. OK, so far so good. The Calibre QT wrist supports are not very expensive when compared with some of the (overpriced) brand names and they had some good reviews here on Amazon. In their description they had a sizing chart which I used to order both left and right medium supports. Well that didn't come close to being accurate. I had to send both back and get size Large. Their chart takes one measurement, at the wrist. They should take another measurement at the top of the support since for me the straps were way too short there.OK, I got the large Wrist Supports. I have used them three nights so far and they need to be tweaked to be usable. After the first nights use both hands were chaffed and cut from the velcro straps. For me, the fabric does not wrap completely around my forearm so there is a gap covered by the straps. The velcro straps are very thin with hard edges. This is especially painful between the thumb and index finger where one of the straps goes. Not wanting to give up (I was getting some wrist relief), I took an old pair of thin socks, cut off the toe for my fingers plus a cutout for my thumb and wore one on each arm before putting on the wrist supports. Pretty dorky but this stopped the chaffing of exposed skin on my forearm and hand. I am still trying to get the right tightness adjustment since it is easy to get it too tight and not realize I have cut off some circulation until the middle of the night. But that is not the fault of the Wrist Supports. The jury is still out on whether these will work for me. I realize they are inexpensive so if the Vendor reads this, I would suggest that they charge a little more and use better straps and be more generous with the fabric to make their product better.

Cannot recommend for average-sized men
UPDATE 11-05: Gave these to someone with smaller hands than myself, and they seemed to find them vastly more comfortable than I ever did. So from this I will just infer that they aren't well designed for somebody that hits the imperfect ratio of large wide hands but thin/average wrists. As such the rating that I will end up giving is a blend between my experience, their experience, and the material/construction as a whole.___I spent an hour trying to get this item to not cut off the circulation in my fingertips, but there just wasn't a proper position to set it at despite following the provided instructions to a T. Within 3 minutes my fingers were ice cold. This is unusual for me because my fingers never get that way and I am of the "warm hands" variety. This automatically takes away my ability to recommend it. A brace should NOT affect ones circulation.I am a somewhat slight man with thin-to-average wrists and average-large hands, so my first thought is that my proportions are screwing it up. But I keep referring back to the size chart provided by the seller and I am well within the measurements of the size that I purchased (Right Hand, Medium). Had I purchased the next size up I feel that I ran the risk of it being loose to the point that it wouldn't provide the support that a brace like this needs. I've tried not making the straps so tight, I've tried shifting how it sits around my wrist, I've tried reducing the amount of straps that I use, but nothing works. Ultimately there's a flaw in this product that I wish I could understand, and I am certain that the flaw isn't *me*.I stand by my criticism and scoring because it strikes right at the entire core of the product which is wearability. I cannot recommend this product to men based on my experience.

Hand strap too short, Velcro absurdly strong
I did NOT receive a discount for this review. I just bought the product like a normal person. My wrist is 6.5 inches in circumference, so I ordered the small version to wear at night to keep my carpal tunnel from acting up. While the part around my arm fits OK, the problem is the part that goes around my hand is way too short. The strap barely reaches the spot it's supposed to attach to (there is about 1/4 inch of connection). That 1/4 inch holds it securely enough (see Velcro comments below), but there is 1 to 1.5 inches of Velcro material that then lay over the skin near my thumb. That is not comfortable. I can stick a piece of fabric on the Velcro to avoid the scratching, but the strap around the hand should be 1.5 inches longer at least. Some other reviewers have mentioned the strength of the Velcro. What may not be clear is just how crazy strong that Velcro bond is -- it is so strong that it is very hard to pull it apart when you want to remove the strap. I have to pull up a little bit of the strap at a time and keep working at it to get it off (and I'm a reasonably fit middle-aged guy). Since I have to do this one handed with my non-dominant hand (right hand wrist has a bit of carpal tunnel, so I bought this to wear at night), this makes it way harder than it should be to remove the brace in the morning.Aside from these two (significant) issues, it does seem well made. It is marginally more comfortable than the hard plastic brace the OT made for me.I have had much better luck with this brace that I wear when I use a mouse: Mueller Fitted Right Wrist, Black, Small/medium
