I know there is debate about the use of sugar soap and I am not sure whether it is really any more effective than soap and water. I used it for a painting job recently and it did what it said.

Sugar soap does make a difference
Always told to use this prior to painting.It has been difficult to purchase as everywhere has very little stock.Does may the difference and can be used surprisingly on extraction housings, smoke detectors etc and almost renews the plastic
