These are very pretty Chanukah candles. I have used them for the past 2 years. The menorah I have is made of heavy metal. (Either iron or nickel depending where you look) I mention that because even though I give the candles 5 stars, there still are three issues that are worth mentioning. First, they aren't all the same thickness at the base. So some candles fit in my menorah and some don't. When placing the candles, I use the thin ones for the Shamash so I can remove it to light the others. The thicker candles I use a lighter to soften the base of the candles and push them into the menorah. I wouldn't try this with a more delicate or ornate menorah. Second, they are not completely dripless. When the candles burn out, they leave wax in their holders and on the menorah. I either chip it out with a metal skewer or melt it out with very hot water. Again, not for a delicate menorah. Finally, like most Chanukah candles, they only burn for 30 - 45 minutes. I wish they would burn longer. So next year I will try the bellied oil which claims they burn from 1 to 3 hours.

I have been fortunate to be able to purchase many many Hanukah candles throughout my life. I purchase this brand only because it was the day before Hanukah and I was desperate to find the one that had next day delivery. My fault. Well, if they are genuine beeswax, they should be premium, right? WRONG! First, they do not burn down all the way and they leave a near impossible task of removing the remains. After baths of hot water and individual scraping of each candle holder, I got most of this crap out. I can't wait for the 8th night to spend most of it cleaning all of the holders out. Next, they burn so darn quick that the enjoyment of seeing a lit menorah is fleeting. How sad. As a child, we used to be able to watch the menorah for more than an hour. These are pure crap candles. Next, they don't burn evenly. Not even close. Always, my candles burn at about the same rate or close to it. These don't even come close. These are NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, like the candles I bought last year from Amazon when I ordered them with a few days to spare. Since Hanukah is almost over, it does little good to warn folks next year to stay away from these horrible excuses for Hanukah candles, but at least I want to express my total dissatisfaction since at this point I can't return them anyway. Shameful! Disgraceful as well! Doubt they are even beeswax--just cheap paraffin or other inexpensive alternative to the real thing. Jewish holiday candles from China. That's all you need to say.

Look, every menorah is going to be a little different but candles are pretty universal. Basically any candle should fit in any menorah or do so with just a little bit of pressure. These things crack with the smallest amount of pressure and worse require modification to every candle to fit in the cup of the menorah. The bottom of these candles were never squared off so they are rounded like a teardrop. Practically no menorah is built this way so every candle tips over. I had to take a utility knife and cut the base of each candle to sort of make them fit. These are a royal pain to use and I strongly suggest finding a different brand. I've had tremendous success with the oil menorahs that use the little glass disposable cups. Happy Hanukkah

These candles are pretty enough. But, to be honest, the clincher for me was the "dripless" claim. I was so happy with the thought of not having to de-wax my menorah for eight nights. Not only were these NOT dripless, they were FAR messier than any previous candles I've had that didn't make the dripless claim. I won't buy again. But, in the middle of Hanukkah, you use what you have. Shalom.

WOW! I don’t know why the reviews are even a little mixed on these candles! First of all I purchased them and received the next day! I might have just gotten lucky there, but it was a Hanukkah miracle if you ask me! They had about an hour and a half burn time (which is perfect in our house) and literally ZERO drips! Not a single drip! They are truly beautiful, not and a single one was broken in the packaging when they arrived! I wasn’t sure the cost would be worth it since I’ve gotten Hanukkah for $1.99 before but let me tell you these were WORTH IT! There is def a difference in burn time length, zero wax dripping and quality you get when you pay a little more for them. And they fit into our menorah perfectly as well. Can’t say enough good things! So glad I made the purchase!

I absolutely LOVE these Hanukkah candles, they're the BEST!!! First of all, they're super pretty. They are nice and long and colorful. But just as important, they burn cleaner than any candles I've ever had. It is the third night of Hanukkah, so three of the candles are right next to each other. And still, they have ZERO wax accumulation on the sides of the candles. There is NO dripping. I am truly amazed by this. When they are finished, I have simply taken a toothpick and dug out the little bit of wax remaining in the candle holder part. So fast and easy. I will be definitely getting these again for next year....and the year after that, and the year after that. I highly recommend these for Hanukkah!!!
