Grippy and comfortable, but not quick drying
These run a little large, so size down if you want a very secure fit similar to bouldering shoes. Wore these shoes for a hike through a cave (which was partly underwater) and they were really secure feeling. I was able to stay on slippery rocks without an issue, but even walking around on dry land, they were still pretty comfortable with good cushioning and arch support. The holes on the sides were big enough for rocks to slip through, but I was able to get them out relatively easy when on dry land. However, these shoes did not dry very quickly, at least in a humid environment-- we left them sitting out for 12 hours after wringing them out and they were still very wet.

Perfect water hiking shoes
I returned size 9.5 for size 8.5. I thought since my big toe was touching the end, it would be too small, but not the case. It was the perfect size. Once they are wet, they stretch a little. We hiked through the Amazon jungle and climbed the mountains to see the Cana Crystalas rainbow river in Columbia. They were great shoes to walk in the water and to hike the trails. I added orthopedic inserts for arch support and I also wore thin aqua socks. I don’t think they would be good for sand though.

Love these shoes
I am on my second pair of these water shoes. They are very comfortable and drain well when wet. My first pair lasted about a year and I wore them all the time, dry or wet. I even wore these to work out in. They were originally bought for a trip to the big island Hawaii. I knew the terrain was going to be very diverse between all of the different sand beaches, lava rock and jungles. These shoes fit the bill for every adventure there and then some. While others in our group, with much more expensive water shoes, struggled with them and didn't want to always wear them in the water, mine were great. I took several pairs of shoes with me and other than dress shoes for dinner, I wore these shoes the entire trip. I bought my second pair this year after wearing the first pair out. I love to wear them for gardening because I can just hose them off and they are so lightweight. I just recommended them to my sister for her upcoming beach vacation. Her and her husband both bought a pair. They have not yet received them, but are excited to try them. I highly recommend this shoe for all water adventures and then some. Plus, you can't beat the price.

Stylish, Comfortable & Functional, BUT Runs Large
I bought these for kayaking! I am a Women's Size 8. I ordered the Women's 7.5 in these water shoes. And my toes still have tons of room (without socks).Size 6.5 would be way too small for me, so this is as close to my size I can get.Fortunately, tightening up the laces does make a world of difference in terms of making my feet feel secure in the shoes.ADVICE FOR TIGHTENING LACES -- especially for those breaking the rubber lace bindings -- DO NOT just pull on the laces at the top. Tighten them carefully at each "criss-cross" and then secure at the top with the lace "lock". Don't be too rough with them.I haven't used them in the water or recreationally just yet, but once I do (in the next few days), I will update my review. So far, I think these will do the job. The tread is good and strong, the material is nice, the rubber lace loops seem pretty durable (Though maybe they'll dry out and be brittle with time in saltwater and the sun, we'll see) and they feel comfortable on my feet. Also the color is great. They do "pucker" a little between the laces, especially if you're tightening them enough to fit. But this is because instead of a shoe "tongue" like hiking and street shoes have, the water shoes are one complete woven "sock," so it makes sense that the tightened fabric has no where else to go haha. Two pictures for two different lightings so you can see the colors.UPDATE: Took these swimming in an alpine lake this weekend. I'm pretty damn pleased. They were great on rocks, kept my feet safe, were light in the water, weren't loose on my feet, and dried relatively quickly. 10/10

Very nice shoe but I did get a soar from wearing them a long time.
I’m I size 10 but the 9 1/2 seemed to be a perfect fit the shoes were by far the most comfortable water shoes I have ever own and the have nice heavy sole but no so heavy they felt clunky. I got a pair for my son as well to take on a camping trip in the white mountains. We wore the in the river for three days straight, climbing on rocks. The held up nicely with on a couple wear spots in the mesh. My only gripe is that my son and I both developed soars on the arches of our feet from wearing them so much. I assume socks would of helped but that wouldn’t be nice in the water. Perhaps breaking them in more would help. Over all I think they are a well made shoe and very comfortable, maybe just not for long periods of time.

Nice water shoes, fairly priced and rapid shipping.
Half sizes are good for people who may have difficulty finding the right fit. I look forward to using these shoes on an upcoming vacation. They fit well, come in fun colors and have a sturdy bottom. They appear to be a quality product, modestly priced.

Good quality water shoes
Some of the better water shoes that I have run into. They are well built and the sole is pretty sturdy and offers good support as opposed to most water shoes which are not much more than a think layer of plastic on the bottom of your foot.

Runs a bit large compared to running shoes.
Ordered these for a trip to Costa Rica. They worked out great for me and my wife, with whitewater rafting, canyoning, repelling down a waterfall, etc. Decent for light hiking, would not recommend for serious hiking or anything over 2 miles. The sole is pretty grippy in mud and on rocks without being too soft. The sole is still quite flexible as well, we walked down rivers and over rocks and skree comfortably.I wear a 10.5 in Hoka and Asics sneakers, i had to run the first pair (10.5) and order size (9.5) for a secure fit. Same with my wife, 1 size down from her running shoes. My 16 year old son wears the same size shoe as me, but with his pair, we could never get them tight enough for a secure fit. The length was right, but he has skinnier feet. These are great for normal width feet. Not good for wide feet or skinny feet.Overall almost exactly what i was looking for.

poor quality
I bought these last summer (2020) and stored them until this summer (2021).On first use one shoe fell apart and worse - it was on day one of a week-long canoe trip. These were only my dry campsite shoes, not the ones I used for harder-core portage and related activities. Glad we had emergency crazy glue. They've doubled in price since I bought them in 2020. Yes they're cool lookingUPDATE (8/26/21):Sobaso was very cooperative and speedy in refunding my puchase price with no arguments whatsoever. I score the company very high on service and styling. It just needs to get quality control in-line which is ultimately why I rated the SHOES so low.

Great quality for walking over rocky beaches or hiking
Light weight, easy to adjust to make looser or tighter. Very solid sole , would be good option for hiking or rocky beaches.Highly recommended.
