HyloTear 10ML - Lubricating Eye Drop Eye Sensation - 10ML

My Wife recently was diagnosed with Sjogrens. Her eyes stay dry and inflamed plus her body. The doctor suggest Xiidra drops but my insurance doesn't cover it and the side effects left Metallic flavor on her mouth. So, I did some research and found these drops. My wife told me her eyes are completed moistured without no burn and now she can go to the stores with AC or even be outside like a normal person. Feeling healthy with comfortable eyes is a priority for her then these drops are well worth the $.

I have used the eye drops for close to 2 months now. I have a problem with my left eye being more dry than my right eye and because I wear contact lenses, this dryness sometimes creates issues with the comfort level of the lens in my left eye as well as with the quality of the vision in that eye. I know that cosmetic companies use hyaluronic acid in their makeup and skin care products because this helps to hydrate the skin and to keep it hydrated. I did some research to see if there was such a thing as an eye drop with hyaluronic acid in it and wondered if it would work the same way to moisturize and help the eye tissue retain moisture. I found this product - Hylo Tear - and decided to give it a try. I showed it to my optometrist this January when I went in for my annual eye exam. He was quite impressed with the package literature and thought I should definitely try the drops. I did try it and I use it every day - most of the time getting the recommended 3 drops/eye per day. My left eye is certainly more hydrated and my left contact lens does not seem to "goop up" in my eye when my eye gets dry and my vision stays good and clear through my contacts. The nice thing about this product is that contact lens wearers can use the drops while wearing contact lenses - no more taking the lenses out or waiting 15 minutes after using the product. I do use the product in both eyes but since it is my left eye that has the dryness issue more so than the right eye, I notice more definite improvement in the moisture level and in the contact lens comfort level in my left eye although the right eye feels very moist and lubricated as well. I like this product because it does not contain the thickening agents that most moisturizing eye drops have - the agents that "goop up" the eye after instilling the drops and that make it almost impossible to see through the thickness for several minutes after use. My left eye feels better and the vision in my left eye has improved (very little blurring and dryness after wearing my contact lenses for several hours). I am impressed with the effectiveness of Hylo Tear.

It would be nice if the ingredients were mentioned somewhere so I could clear it with the glaucoma doctor. You took a picture of the front of the box but not the important side that lists the ingredients. It shouldn’t be too difficult.

Working in veterinary medicine this product bought from a vet will cost you 10 times the amount. Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally by your eyes, but overtime diminishes greatly. One of the uses hyaluronic acid can be used for is not only dry eyes, but also for corneal abrasions to heal the abrasion without the use of antibiotics. so not only do I use it for my animals, but I also use it for myself when my eyes are just feeling a little gritty. The bottle is a little challenging to figure out but the nice thing is only one drop comes out so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a fantastic product

I have used almost every over-the-counter eye drops and eye drops by prescription available. For me, it has worked better than any of the others. I will be ordering more.

I have used Hylo drops for a couple of years. The drops are amazing. Much better than OTC brands.

I tried so many different eye drops. My ophthalmologist sister who practice overseas told me to use sodium hyaluronate after clean up meibomian gland. It works! I rarely get dry eyes anymore as long as I drop it every day. I wonder why none of my doctors told me to use sodium hyaluronate.

I was recently diagnosed with Sjogrens. My eyes stay dry and inflamed. My insurance company refuses to pay the $1700 for Restasis (don't blame them...I refuse to pay it too). So, I did some research and found these drops. My eyes retain the moisture much, much better. No burn. That gritty eye feeling is gone. For an eye drop, these can seem pricey. However, if having healthy, comfortable eyes is a priority, these drops are well worth the $.

Need to use pressure to get drops out of bottle. A two person application.

Brilliant. Tried many dry eye drops , even prescription ones but I was either allergic to the preservatives or they didnt help. These worked within 24 hrs and not had sore eyes since. Recommended from optometrist.
