Simple and elegant LED light kit by Minka Aire
The media could not be loaded. This light kit is compatible with the Classica Provencal fan by Minka Aire . I didn’t care for the tulip lights that were featured with the fan in the showroom . The LED light operates with a chain pull , not a dimmer switch. I also ordered decorative chain pulls to complete the look. The kit comes with several light caps to suit your taste and color preferences.Make sure to call Minka Aire Support to ensure the compatibility of the light kit with your ceiling fan !

Died in a year
First, installation was not as easy as it seemed at first. Getting all of the pieces to fit was very difficult and it took two of use to mount it on the fan because of this.Second, the dimmer never worked, at all. However I liked the brightness so I didn't worry about it.Third, it started flickering. At first this was only after it had been on for several straight hours, and usually it stopped after a minute or so. Then it got more frequent. Then it would flicker and then die.Finally, it just stopped working entirely. The fan still works, the switch still works, the pull chain does not turn on the light and neither does the switch. Just after the warranty expired, of course.

Flickers when not on full brightness
Fit good looks great just flickers when it is not on full brightness other then that it's great

Poor value
This is an LED light that should've lasted 10 years. Instead it lasted 3 months before it wouldn't turn on again. I have lost receipt and need to buy a new replacement

Light failed after two minutes
Installed on Minke fan by electrician. It worked for a few minutes then failed. Fan still works. Minke said contact seller. Seller said contact amazon. Amazon said contact Minke. Going in circles.Warranty is lifetime but how do I return it?

Not dimmable
This light is not dimmable, at least with a smart switch. Anything below 100% power causes the light to flicker. Super annoying.

Very nice retrofit
The light is high quality and the fixture is sturdy. Be mindful of the wall dimmer as certain models will cause flickering/strobing, so you may need to replace a wall dimmer if that’s the case. We needed to switch from an analog/slider dimmer to a digital/touch dimmer to remedy the flickering and strobing. I would still recommend this to friends and family however.
