Super easy to install. I finally have a large enough laundry/ utility room where the kitty box and food can go so I needed a door. I first bought one that would have gone higher but of course after it arrived I realized I couldn’t use it with my type of paneled door. So I opted for this one instead. . I don’t have a workbench so I propped it up on four dining room chairs (see pic). The bottom of the door was harder to get through so I positioned it against a door for the hard pushing I had to do with my jigsaw. My jigsaw left a mark on the door around the edges but luckily I happened to have the inside of the door facing up so it’s hidden. Since I just installed it I’m not sure how well the adhesive strips will do but hopefully they hold for a long time. Overall I’m really happy with it.

This thing is pretty cute. Easy to install if you have a decent jigsaw, great instructions, functional. Our smaller kitty caught on right away. Our big fat Tom cat is afraid of it, but he’s afraid of everything including his own poop. He’s almost 20 lbs and can fit through just fine. Our dog tried to go through also, but only his head would fit, so he sat outside of it crying because he felt left out.

I bought this thinking it was similar to many others. The install went quickly, and the product works as intended. I had thought/hoped the frame would screw together, but it is just double sided taped to each side of the door, which is disappointing, but the brush feature works well to keep our cat from brining as much fur out of the basement. That cleans up easily as well. It’s been in place for a couple months, and cleaned a few times. We’ll see if the tape holds up long term, but worst case, I could put new tape on.

Only bought it because it was on "sale" for $15. And our cat got her paw "Chinese finger trap"Ed in the cat door that had an actual door.The cut out is perfect for prep, not really necessary because you can just outline the inner circle.This product defines that one friend everyone has who can and will fix everything with duck tape.

I have one of these in my basement back room and the laundry. Keeps my dogs out of the cat litter area and gives the cat a safe place. It looks nice and was easy to install.

Luv it! Very easy to install with the right tools. The brush is a bin6us... deep brushes the fat cats each time they pass thru. They started using right away n I get to close my bedroom door again at night. Fits fat cats up to 16lbs fairly easily. Get lots of visitor compliments.

This product was not well planned at all. I can't tell if they are trying to save a penny or if they just don't understand how much pressure a cat can put on a product held together by hopes and dreams... Honestly, I didn't check any reviews even now when writing this. So this is more on me than them. But highly do not recommend. We are going to try to tape it with Gorilla glue double sided tape and pray to the god of wine for forgiveness.Good luck if you go this route.
