Bought two of these items when the first didn't work I then tried the second one in case the first was faulty, however when the second didn't work either I requested a refund. I then looked elsewhere online and purchased the product from a more legitimate seller, when the product arrived from them there was clear and obvious differences leading me to believe this is a knock-off product.firstly the state the packaging arrived was noticeable, the one purchased from here was in a bad state. the box was ripped, not sealed properly and fell apart. the one from a legit seller was in good condition.neither of the ones I bought from here worked at all, some buttons were even broken however the ones I purchased after worked with absolutely no problem.when I looked up the items online to look for new ones the common retail price was £19.99 however this seller sells it significantly cheaper.the box was different, the colours were different, text was a different size, some text was different and the pictures of cats were off less quality on the box of the one purchased from here.the product itself was slightly different too. listed below is the product differences,pop and play written on top of the legit one whereas the other didn't have this.on the bottom of the legit one there was lots of writing in the plastic, company name, distributer, made in, trademark, product number etc however the one from here simply had made in china on it.the legit one had the buttons for power and sound labelled whereas the one from here didn't.the legit one had 2 mouse toys whereas the one from here had a mouse toy and a feather toy.the instructions with the legit one were more detailed and on them contained all the small print about the trademark, made in etc and had a warranty where as the one purchased from here had no official looking information on the instructions.once I heard back from the seller they only offered a £10 refund and said we didn't need to return the items, however this simply isn't enough, as neither of the items work and I have already purchased new ones therefore a full refund Is expected.the differences in the product and its packaging lead me to believe that this is a knock-off product and upon reading reviews of this seller I have seen many negative comments about the seller.I do not recommend purchasing from this seller!

My order took 34 days to arrive. When it was delivered it was utterly destroyed. It looks like someone has driven over it.It is also broken, which is no surprise given the absolutely wrecked state it was delivered in. One of the buttons is pushed in and broken off, I can hear it rattling around inside the unit.Worst of all, there is an absolutely razor sharp burr in the plastic on the edge of one of the holes your cat is supposed to put its paw into.Absolutely disgusting quality and service. Do not even consider giving this trader your money. Pay more and get a better quality item from a reputable supplier/retailer.

Broken on arrival. Parcel looked as if it had been dropped or squashed. Item did not work. We tried several new batteries, but the batteries were fine, the toy would not work at all. Delivered by Hermes-left on the step after a gentle tap on the door. Van leaving by the time we picked up the item.

Very poor quality item. This broke within 5 minutes of using. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

Arrived in a plastic bag having been sat in a depot for 2 weeks. Unsurprisingly the cardboard box around the toy was the same shape as the toy whereas it obviously should have been cuboid in form. However, the toy looked to be in good shape when the cardboard fell off it during opening the plastic bag.Afraid I had forgotten to purchase some type C batteries so did not test straight away. when I got batteries and fitted them and pressed the buttons on the side of the toy .... nothing !!Opened the toy up (there are half a dozen screws on the base plate) and had a little examination with my multimeter. Power was getting to the inside of the toy (the motor that rotates the cat lure) but the buttons made no difference.... power to the motor regardless of pressing the buttons but no rotation from the motor or cat lure. The button controlling the sound effects was also in a similar condition (did nothing when pressed).Maybe I should have known better than to get a "cheap" toy from China.Fortunately I had not told the cats to expect this toy so they will not suffer the same disappointment that I did.

I have to write an honest opinion: took ages to come arrived in a plastic bag good start - can I just state not in amazon packaging as this bought from an independant seller with unreadable labels. Although outer plastic was dry, the bag internally felt extremely (damp inside !!!) Box had all come unstuck and was miss shapened (possibly been stored in a damp place) also box was made of really thin cheap card badly crushed had to dry it out, so purchased item was out of box in a flimsy plastic bag with no other protection. I was absolutely Crestfallen as this was a present for grandchildren. Tried drying box out, put batteries in no life at all think item may have suffered with damp from where it was stored even. Had no quality about it at all. A poor imitation of one that is sold in big supermarkets. As Isolating and as I shop with Amazon and rarely have problems thought would be okay. So disappointed so have asked for a refund. Sorry amazon cannot recommend.

Very poorly made. The "mouse" was just a piece of fluff and could easily come off after one play - if you could get it to work in the first place. 4 new duracell C batteries and still no glimmer of anything working. Very disappointing product. Only plus was that it did arrive earlier than expected.
