322984 Steel Trolley Arm Attachment Operator Bracket 320787 for Wayne Dalton 5120 5140 9100 9600 Garage Door Genuine

It was an exact fit including the same screw holes as the old bracket . It replaced an Wayne Dalton trolley arm operator bracket. I took a chance when I ordered it since the one dimension stated it was 2 3/4 " but my old one was only 2 1/4". The picture was the same as my old bracket. The 2 3/4" was wrong.

Easy install took about 10 minutes. Took longer to gather up ladder and tools.

I purchased this item June 29, 2023, it arrived first week of July and I installed it right away. I will agree with others that the install was easy and was a perfect replacement fit. However, it has already broken as of 12/11/2023. The rivets in the center completely sheared and the U shaped clip detached from the body of the unit. I reached out to seller, I will update review if the customer service is helpful.

Customers be-ware - Chamberlain will not approve warranty claim if you use this bracket on your wayne dalton fiber glass insulated doors. They require vertical support bracket that mounts between 2 support beams and uses 8 bolts to secure to door. I was told that these get loose overtime and cause door opener to not detect obstacles which resulted in my door getting bent really bad. One could argue that this bracket should be sufficient as it has 6 bolts securing door to opener adequately however your claim with garage door opener will be denied if you use this type of bracket. So I am writing this for the sole purpose of saving you some headache.
