I put a layer of this fire glass over a layer of lava rock and it looks very nice. It gives a lot of reflection. Based on other reviews, I washed them first in a bucket of soapy water. I used a paint stir stick to swirl them around. I put an old towel on the back lawn and slowly poured the water and glass into the towel to catch all the small shards, then let it dry in the sun and just threw the towel away.

This glass is beautiful. Arrives in a plastic jug and is very dusty. I recommend dumping it into a bucket and rinsing with soap and water several times then leaving on a towel in the sun to dry before placing in your fire pit. You will want to use a towel you can throw away as tiny pieces of glass will embed in the fibers. I also recommend googling a fire glass calculator to determine how much glass you will need before buying. I got 10 lbs for a 15x15 inch pit and it was not enough to cover the burners so I had to purchase it again.

Our fire pit table came with basic lava rocks and after a few years we decided it was time for a (literal) "glow up" and couldn't be happier. Our youngest kiddo picked the aqua color and I think it was the perfect choice.

We ordered the color green. It is not even close to being green. It is more of an Aqua Blue. 😭😭😭 My daughter loves green and that is why we ordered green. Welp. She got blue.

Looks pretty but ended up breaking open while emptying the glass to the fire pit and a bunch of glass dust at the bottom ended in my fire pit. If I had known there was also much dust would have returned it before using it.Update: seller reached out and offered refund to make things right. I appreciate this and have updated the star rating. Was hesitating to buy another 10 lb package to finish filling my fire pit but will plan on giving it another try.

These rocks are very small, pieces actually. I expected more "rocks" like the ones that came with my firepit, as opposed to pieces of rock, however, the color is very nice and I mixed them with some of the fuller rocks still OK in the firepit. I probably won't buy again because they are small, but I will use them.

Bought these to update a fire pit table. I can't stand lava rock and this has a much more upscale look. Love the reflective qualities.

These glass rocks are above average for sure. They look very good, enjoy the looks with or without the fire on.

Exactly what we wanted ! The cobalt blue is very nice. Only thing is when you first get them they need to be washed as there are little glass shards that easily get everywhere. Would buy again.

I had read this glass rock burns hotter gives me heat. I changed back to the lava rock that came with firepit table as I could tell a significant difference not sure if it’s just this product or not

A great amount, filled our fire (pillar style) trough perfectly. Gorgeous colour mix, the mirrored pieces sparkle at night! Very happy with this product!!

Tops for both jugs where shattered and sharp glass shards and dust went everywhere. Not impressed.
