Great Ink
This is my favorite ink. The ink flows as well as my Irushizuku and Waterman inks. The color is a really nice dark blue grey so you don't get those hints of purple like many other blue-black inks. The ink worked very well in all of my fountain pens besides my preppy, so keep that in mind. The best part of this ink is that I rarely see any feathering at all. I am a teacher so I don't get to choose what kind of paper my student use. This is an amazing ink.

Sailor Souboku Pigmented Ink - Blue Gray Black
Wonderful blue-gray-black color! It does not bleed even through ordinary college notebook paper, it leads to no feathering, and it flows very well. It is also water-resistant. I did not yet check how easily is to clean the fountain pen.

Looking for blue-black ink? Look no further!
Honestly, I didn't buy it for "professional" reasons. Not to be used for work or carried with me to sign checks or documents. I simply wanted a good blue-black ink that is fit for everyday writing and won't grow tired of it so quickly. I purchased a 10ml sample bottle and right away decided to buy a full bottle. In its most intense (wet) state, it writes almost black and I actually prefer it in the less-intense (diluted) state. THAT is the perfect shade of blue-black (for me) and my eyes never scream at me if I stare at it for too long. And being water-resistant and a fair price item is simply a bonus for me.It does offer a subtle shading if you are into that. And it writes wet for the fountain pens I own

Subdued, beautiful business-blue ink
Sailor Soubuku is a wonderful ink. It’s a business-appropriate, Indigo-Denim blue, with good flow, minimal bleed-thorough, and consistent behavior across paper types. Flow is on the dryer side, but like fountain-friendly carbon inks, it has pleasantly smooth feel on the page. It dries to smudge proof, even on slick thermal or Rhodia paper, in 5-10 seconds, and is quite water and solvent fast, though it will smudge a bit of rubbed with alcohol. The bottle is the newer cube-style. It’s a piece of art and looks worthy of a place on an executive desk, but lacks the integral well that I understand this ink used to have.I haven’t left a test paper in the sun to test UV fade resistance, but intend to do so with an update. So far, this is THE everyday ink I was hoping it might be. I’m glad I finally bought a bottle!
