Insane Deck Vibrations on JD 54"
Advertised as replacement for JD p/n M154960. The length is spot on. Diameter is NOT. I'm not an engineer or physics major so I don't know 'why', but after installing this belt my entire X500 tractor vibrated so bad I thought nuts and bolts would soon come loose. Upon removing belt and installing OEM JD belt, vibrations disappeared. Caliper check reveals this belt is approximately 1/8 in off of advertised diameter and this is causing issues with pulleys.

FITS AND WORKS ON A JOHN DEERE 54C DECK
This belt looks extremely heavy duty and it fits on the 54C mower deck. I put this belt on a John Deere 54C Mower deck hanging under an X520 Multi-Terrain Tractor, and mowed the better part of 2 acres- it worked perfectly.

Works great on my JD 54c Mower deck
Great price and build quality. I have an issue with my deck which will require some pricier parts to be changed out so it throws belts much more often than it should, so having a great belt on hand without the JD pricing is an absolute necessity. This one definitely fits the bill and I always keep a spare on hand.
