this is a good shading tool, depending on what you choose to make with it. I was surprised just a little bit of a line when hit with water really spreads, almost too much. I do like them however and would get them again. Mostly I use it in watercolor to shadow. Wonder if I'd like them in thinner pencils more

I have used the regular size Stabilo pencils for years, But these chunky ones are easier to find in my studio mess, and great for using in mixed media art! These will last me forever!I do recommend that you order the pencil sharpener for the larger woody when you order these pencils.

The Stabilo Woody adds the perfect markings to my mixed media designs. It creates sharp, bold markings.

This is fun to use

These were made for children but Mixed Media Artists beginners and intermediate all over the world are using these. Especially in a mixed media art journal. That's what I use the Woody for. You can draw and add water to it. Like a watercolor paint. Also It's really pigmented. Well worth the money. I will be buying more.

This chunky crayon adds a great addiction to mixed media artwork. It also works well as a resist for watercolor mediums. Loving its artistic adult use!

I used this on the project in the photos: mixing it on a charcoal background. It worked out well.. but I also like using it on Black paper.

Preis wirkt erstmal happig, wenn man noch keine Stifte hat empfiehlt sich das grosse Gesamtset für ich mein 28 Euro zu kaufen. Es lohnt sich, meine 2 jährige liebt diese Stifte heiss und innig.Obwohl wir sehr darauf achten das man nur auf Papier malt geht auch mal was daneben, was sich problemlos weg- oder auswaschen lässt.Aus pädagogischem Gesichtspunkt werden wir Wasservermalerei oder Fenstermalerei aber erst machen, wenn sie zu 100% den Unterschied zur Tapetenwand kennt und versteht 😉😇.Beides geht aber problemlos, weiss ich aus langjähriger Kitaerfahrung.

Ho acquistato una confezione di queste fantastiche matitone multi funzione in cui non c'era il bianco. Dopo un po' lo ho acquistato a parte e mi è arrivato imbustato e sigillato con anche la plastica che protegge la punta. Adesso sì che ho tutti i colori che mi servono!
