**UPDATE**I had an issue with the charger, similar to another reviewer, which appears to be a rare case. The power button became stuck. So naturally I wrote Nekteck the next chance I got, and it happened to be after midnight..Please note that on their website it states that their customer service work hours are 9-5.. so I was taken aback when they responded almost immediately. WOW.. a nice surprise to say the least.. and after conversing, it became evident just how much Nekteck wants for their customers to be satisfied with their products.Long story short, they let me know that same night, that they processed a request, and that I would be receiving a replacement within 3-7 days. 3 days later, it arrived and it brought me peace of mind and satisfaction at knowing that this company is dependable and stand by their product.This is the kind of customer service that all shoppers deserve. It is simply nice to know that they care, and I have no affiliation to Nekteck, and write this testimony out of gratitude, to let others know that if you fill out the warranty, and contact them regarding any issue that may arise, they will make right by you as they did for me.This is the kind of company I personally love to buy from. That has led me to learn about other great products they have, including this car jump starter.So a big thank you to Mr. Leung, thanks to all at Nekteck and their great customer service, R.V. in particular, and thanks to you for taking the time to read about my experience.__________________________________________________________________________________________________First and foremost, i love the safety features..The strobe light and S.O.S. feature can help one to signal for help and are quite useful.Being spark-proof and having lights on the clamps which indicate if they are on properly, are greatly appreciated. I don't personally need the indicator, but it can make this the jump starter to own for anyone who is new to jump starting. This can definitely make a nice gift for someone who will get their first car.Additionally, being long lasting and having the ability to charge devices, make it a must have product.

Update 11/24/2020A lady stopped me at the gas station this evening and asked me for a jump! She asked me to see if I could park next to her. I told her I had this thing and could just walk over. Super handy. I haven't charged it since I helped the last person. This car started right up, first try. I should probably charge it. This thing is definitely worth it!Update 9/16/2020It's been in the car since I wrote my initial review and today I ran into someone who needed a jump at the hardware store. It was still at 100 percent and we got her car jumped on the first try! Perfect!Original review:So far so good. The unit comes with all the needed cables to jump a car and charge a device with a usb-c connection. It also comes with a quick charge 3.0 wall charger which is great for my cell phone. The flashlight works as a typical flashlight with the strobe options. It's pretty light weight for the battery life it provides. After being in the car for two trips in the summer heat, the battery life remained at 100 percent. It's also nice to have a battery backup for my devices.It is too soon to tell if it would actually jump a car. I just had to get a new battery after I was stranded so I plan to keep this with me. The first opportunity I get to test it jumping a car, I'll update this review.

I'm rather pleased with this car jump starter. I've been looking for a portable car jump starter for a while, and decided to finally get one after my car left my wife stranded when the battery finally died.Pros:It's well constructed, very solid, with two regular USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and a 10A 15V barrel jack.The USB-C port is 15W. It's not as good as a wall charger for quick charging, but the 3A power is still pretty good for tablets and phones. One of the USB-A ports is rated for 12V.Flashlight is brightBattery capacity is amazing, almost 20k mAh! Even comes with a USB-C charging cable and wall adapter!I haven't gotten a chance to test the jumper cables, but I'm sure it'll work just fine in an emergency with that kind of battery capacity.Comes in a great carrier bag!Cons:Heavy! It's not the kind of charger you can toss in your backpack and carry with you every day, but that's to be expected with this kind of battery capacity. It's more of a back-of-the-car or camping accessory.No adapters or cable provided for the 15V barrel jack. It looks like it's a standard size, though, so I'm sure there are enough uses for it for camping or on the road.Worth the purchase! It'll come in handy for camping!
