This drill worked great!!
I was skeptical about this drill because I've never heard of the brand name before. However, it preformed pretty good and drilled through a solid roller camshaft that I was making a lamp out of. I used every bit of the drills length drilling the cam from both ends. I did thin the web before using it because I didn't want my work piece to work harden, as it tried to a few times. I'd recommend this drill to anyone and I'd buy it again.

poor quality
so poor quality never ever had a bit so poorly made snapped off the tip on the first hole two seconds into the holeresharpened it did the same so put it to the side started using it just to clean out the holes snapped it into three pieces I have many years of machine shop work never dealt with a bit so poor no matter what speed you ran it at

Poor
The first hole I drilled, the bit bent. The cause is either because this is not hardened steel or the rifling(grooves) extend the length of the bit, greatly weakening it. I have a 1/8" x 12" that has rifling just at the end and is hardened and has not bent in 15 years of use.

Use it at high speed
Have so far used this to drill many pilot holes in a project on which I am now working in spruce. To the reviewers who are trying to use it at low speed, it is a poor drill bit at low speed, but it is a descent drill bit at high speed. It does require substantial force, and I would not use it on hardwoods. The force creates a bow in the bit, and while that may be a good thing (the company may be using a steel that is designed to flex instead of breaking) it makes the drill bit seem delicate. It seems likely to get my job done, but I would look for something else in future.

Decent Drill Bit for Unusual Holes
Bought this (1/4" x 8" long) drill bit with the intention of using it to drill three holes in a 4-inch thick aluminum cylinder for a CNC project. It drilled the holes just fine and will now sit on my shelf until I have another use for this unusually long bit. Some photos are attached to show the geometry a little better (before I used it). It now shows a little bit of wear but nothing bad.

Brittle and weak
Oh my goodness what a horrible purchase. I chucked this up in my drill press and attempted to drill into mild steel and it literally snapped in half within 5 seconds ! My work was properly clamped and I m not new to drilling either. This is so brittle it may only have been good for use in wood but not metal. Look elsewhere. It wasn’t cheap either! Shipping was fast though.

Great product
Product was as described and was delivered promptly. I would order it again. This part was used in a stock race car build and I was very pleased with both the price and quality.

Not Made in America ....
Well, it works. But last thing I expected from a company named “Drill America” was a drill made elsewhere (in this case, made in China). Had I know that I’d have keep searching. My bad for not doing my homework.

low quality
While it is a drill bit, and will make a hole, it was curved enough that the resulting 8" deep hole was way oversize.
