I bought several pairs of earbuds that claim to be tangle-free, but this is the only pair that comes close. The material is like thick shoelaces. It's a very attractive purple color (just like in the picture). I may have to unwind it a bit when I pull it out if my purse, but it's not like unwinding the flat "tangle-free" types! Those are just as bad as regular earbuds!!

The right ear bud stopped working after only one month of use, I was only used my work desk with computer.

The ear phones stopped working after two weeks.

I purchased this item in July and by the middle of August I was only getting sound out of one side.

Unfortunately these are faulty. They have an internal short that continually Disconnects phone calls , so are un usable.

These headphones are very attractive and are very much tangle free, however they have a few flaws. First, the microphone is down where the shoelaces connect together, so it does not naturally hang anywhere near your mouth. I have to hold he microphone up to my mouth if I want to be heard while on the phone.The metal part of the ear buds themselves are as big around as the 'plug' part of the bud. This makes them very uncomfortable, as the metal part is always pressing up against my ear when I'm wearing them.They seem very durable and I love how tangle resistant they are, I just wish they were a little more comfortable and practical!

Bought these as a gift for my teen. She can't seem to put hers away and we have a cat that loves to chew on headphone cords. These have solved both issues. Now she can leave them anywhere (and in typical teen fashion - she does leave them everywhere!) and the cat has no interest in chewing on them. Win-win for me. No need to hear the "Cat ate my headphones" whine at 6 a.m. or the "crying" that came with another trip to the store for her to purchase yet another pair with her allowance money...now it's just peace and quiet as her earbuds go in and she does what teens do best - ignore her parental figure...
