This is a very sturdy sword given that it's made of foam. Very solid and doesnt bend easily yet safe for kids to play with without getting hurt.

The handle was a bit small for my adult hand. Colours a bit bright for being covert. Otherwise great.

We bought three of these so far - the kids and grown up kids - all love it.The build quality is decent, pure foam - the kids need to be shown not to whack or swipe as this will hurt even though its foam.The print graphic on the foam is very good and does not fade or fray.

We practice fencing during self-isolation and it's a pretty good sword.

I ordered this and another sword to play knights with my son, and also to whack my brother when he comes round to see us... Bearing in mind he's 25 and I'm 27...: - The sabre came in a plastic bag essentially and wrapped in some paper. To be fair, what else do you expect? - The foam is fairly thick and fairly tough as well! Although not too tough and it does bend nicely. - The image is slightly disappointing as it looks like it has just been stuck on top of black foam, but it still looks kind of cool, especially from a distance. - It doesn't hurt when it hits you which is excellent. Also doesn't hurt my son despite him pretending I hurt him accidentally, just so he can trick me and get me... little whatsit... It is a slight pity though when whacking my brother... - It seems durable enough as we have hit pretty hard and it's not even marked the sabre!I would definitely recommend this! Although it is a bit pricey so I would wait for the price to go down before buying it.

Great for kids, or an adult whose wife won't let him buy an actual replica sword.Made from very durable foam they can be used for duelling other foam swords but be warned they can, and do hurt. The design is great, cut/moulded really accurately and with a clear and vibrant design printed on.It's a bit expensive but far better than those cheap hollow plastic swords you can get as these really will last and do feel a lot more 'swordy'.

This swashbuckler's sword is the perfect addition to any pirate pretend play. The sword is fairly long, made of foam and strikingly coloured. Our 4 year old loved it and used it to defend his cabin bed (a ship, naturally) against the energy pirates trying to invade. The only reason for the missing star is, the brand name is stamped on the handle, and this detracts from the overall impression of the toy.It's great fun, soft so won't damaged anyone if used a bit too energetically, and seems fairly durable. Would recommend.
