Will not start - period
This has to be one of the most expensive and heaviest purchases I have ever made. There is a reason why this generator for all of its features retails for the price it does, and Honda Generators which only support Gasoline sells for the price it does. The reason is that this is not really a mission critical generator. It is a toy , made for the masses, to be used once in a while, and if it does not work , oh well. Or you need to be a handy man, and be in the business of replacing spark plugs and cleaning them after every use.The generator will always take two tries to start, and it will eventually start when you unbox it. The issue will be when you actually need to use it in an emergency, then it won't start . Because either the battery will be dead, or the spark plug from the last run will be dirty. I have only used it for LPG and this is my experience. Stay clear, unless you enjoy debugging your generator under a candle light while your food is rotting on the inside. Otherwise, pay the money and get an actual generator.

Test load passed
I finally got around to testing my generator this afternoon on LP and it was pretty straightforward and simple.LOAD TEST RESULTS: I connected my 26' RV trailer and was able to run the 13K BTU AC, the fridge, and the LED lights, but not the microwave too. I tested the micro and the fridge, but turning on the AC overloaded it. From past reviews, I suspected this would be the case. I'll hold off on testing it on gasoline until I actually need it; I'd rather not have to deal with the mess.THE GOOD: The electric start fired it right up without having to charge it and it started pretty quickly.Assembly was pretty simple and straightforward. The oil included was exactly how much was needed to fill it and the included funnel made it easy to fill. There were a plethora (at least 4 sets) of instructions on "How to start/shut down" the unit that were easy to understand. It rolls smoothly and is fairly simple to move around.THE OK: It’s heavy, so will definitely be a two-man lift. It’s not quiet, even on eco-mode, but it’s not exactly loud either. My wife and I could talk to each other standing right next to it; you just wouldn’t want to for long.THE NOT-SO-GOOD: There were two 1/2" cracks in the top housing next to each handle hinge that don't affect the functionality of the product and not worth the pain of replacing it (they're out of stock at Costco anyway). The manual could definitely be improved. I had to read a lot of fine print to find out what to do when it overloads; it wasn’t called out in the troubleshooting or in the index. The manual doesn’t read as if it were written by a native English speaker. I caught one error and had to overlook a few strange strings of words. I never did find out what the “Battery Power Restore Switch” is for other than something you press for 3 seconds when starting it cold.

DO NOT BUY !!!
Worst POS EVER !!, If the battery goes dead, which it will if left alone for a couple of months.. it WILL NOT START, you gotta take it apart... WHAT IS THE POINT OF A GENERATOR THAT MUST HAVE A GOOD BATTERY TO START !!! NEVER buy these modern piles of krap again.. looking for a good old fashioned generator w a MAGNETO !!
