It solves the dreaded P0456 problem on my JL Rubicon 2018. Just like that.
That'd be the "Evaporative Emission Systems Leak" problem. Try getting a new gas cap, before bringing it to the shop.

Maintenance item. Good replacement.
Quick swap out on our Wranglers. Works as expected.4 months later...Turns out they didn't. One is wirking as prescribed. The second one kept showing faults (PO455, and PO456) for my evap system. MPG's were down significantly as well.Bought a replacement from the Auto Parts store....problems went away.

Loose fit on 2019 JL
Mine was pretty loose. The item is super simple and the hope was plug and play.But the gasket wasn’t as thick as OEM.And it still is loose.My loss.

Will not eliminate the check engine light issue.
I got it to try to eliminate the check engine light that Jeep JL;s have. Did not work. In fact, the cap itself came lose more than the old one.

Exact fit
Had an issue with the car running rough from time to time. I think the old cap was not vented well. New cap seems to fix the problem.

Finally check engine light off
My check engine light kept coming on in my 2018 Jeep. I would reset it with a code reader but it would come back on after filling tank. Got this light went off right away.
