The Wonder Garden: Wander through 5 habitats to discover 80 amazing animals

This a unique and beautiful book. The kids really like to search and find different animals. I like that not just the "usual" animals are represented (many children's book focus soley on lions, elephants, giraffes, etc). The only thing I don't care for in this book is that in the lavish drawings, animals are not represented to each other in the proper scale (as you can see in my pictures, the butterfly is shown as the same size as the anaconda and the caiman, and the minki whale is the same size as a seashell). This "artistic license" is wonderful for its arts sake, but not great for children just learnig about new animals. Overall, I recommend this book (as long as you know what you're getting). A visual treat of a book where my kids and I can learn about different habitats around the world. Also makes a cool coffee table book for adults.

This book for us is purely for the cover art and displaying. The content is for much older children. The pages are lengthy, the content is factual. I find it all pretty dull as books go, even for it being about animals. Without the art this would have been returned, but for now it just adds some color to my children’s bookshelf.

Beautifully illustrated book and wonderful writing.

It's a beautiful book. I bought it for my 13 months baby and she loves it. Obviously, she can't follow the infos, but she is really into animals so she recognized some of them and learned others. I'm really happy with this book

Absolutely stunning book!

Gorgeous colors and illustrations yet facts for animals are not included when the animal appears with a number. Organizing text like this would make it more interesting and engaging when reading to young ones.

The is a large format book that will appeal to children of all ages. It covers 5 different world habitats and is lavishly illustrated. The text makes little concession for a child but is informative with eco-friendly messaging. The book only has 48 pages, but each one is absorbing and detailed - the more you look, the more you will find (some of the more complicated and detailed pages would make fabulous jigsaw puzzles!). The book can be read out loud while the child explores the various things on each page. I liked that the text provided the reader with an atmospheric introduction to each habitat, as if placing you there personally and describing what to expect. The large colourful format will appeal to most children and this book can be enjoyed if you just choose to look at the pictures. So, a pleasure to read, educational, bright and colourful, big, bold and beautiful. If only more children's books were like this! This would make a great gift. Recommended.

This is a superbly illustrated, beautiful, vividly colourful and hugely engaging book for children - but much loved by adults too.The text invites you into the different habitats and the descriptions of the different landscapes and animals found within are smart and enjoyable.I can highly recommend it for UKS2 classrooms for its multiple uses. Children will keep coming back to this book over and over, its simply irresistable!

This is the most beautifully illustrated book that I’ve ever come across. It’s honestly a pleasure to read. Quick seller and book was in perfect condition.

It was a gift so not sure how it's gone down but was bit disappointed by it when it arrived. Expected so much more from other reviews - more colour and intricacy and info and more to look at.Will update when I hear how gift has gone down.

Stunning book, the pictures are so bright and beautiful, but the great thing about this beautiful book is the information in it and the way it is written, makes it a great adventure through the different gardens of the world.
