Easy to set up, provides piece of mind.
Initial order received did not include the alarm which I had ordered. I contacted seller and received device WITH alarm 4 days later. It is perfect. I had it set up in literally one minute, tested the alarm, which works as soon as any movement to door is detected and it is loud enough to wake me up so I can further prepare myself for an intruder. Thank you Guard Dog!

Love this
Use it in my sliding patio door and makes me feel safe. It’s solid and does the trick. I just purchased one for my mom too.

Not very effective at all.
The media could not be loaded. The grip on the bottom is slippery, you can open your door all the way if you just pull with slight pressure. It offers some resistance if you try to shove the door open hard and fast, but with slight pressure someone can be in your house in 10 seconds or less.The alarm isn't sensitive at all, and not very loud. You can see in the video I am pulling my door hard repeatedly to simulate someone trying to ram it in, and the alarm doesn't go off unless I move it directly.The cheap door bar I bought before this works way better than this one.
