We have used the Chillouts since April...We could not be happier with the quality!!!They are NOT heavy, nor are they thick steel..and I did NOT want them to be. Comfort first!The lids are easy to take apart for cleaning and I do soak the parts each time after using.....we use cream in our coffee, I do not want cream collecting germs.After getting busy doing some work I remember my coffee, thinking it was probably fairly cool after a half hour....almost burned my tongue...not quite a burn 😉 (a little exaggerating there) but it was hot enough to surprise my tongue.

Just the right thing for that cup of joe. Keeps your coffee hot for a long time . Much lighter in your hand than ceramic cups of similar size. Really like the lid to help prevent spilling as you move around. No metallic after taste. And that handle is large enough for 3 fingers for a good grip. No worries about breakage either. Perfect traveling cup.

These are exactly what we were looking for as we are planning a trip on Trans-berian railroad this coming January. Recommendation on those who have taken before suggested a 16 oz. insulated mug. The two pack is an excellent value, and definitely meets our needs--how can you beat insulated stainless steel?

I love this mug! I just wanted a mug that would keep my coffee hot until I was ready to be done drinking it. The 16 ounce mug does just that. When I finished with whatever meal I’m having I’ve been able to have hot coffee with the meal and still have another cup that’s hot to enjoy after the meal. I’m the only one who drinks coffee, so I make it a cup at a time drip method, the best, but it takes time. This way I get to enjoy two hot cups of coffee in a row, in the same cup. I don’t like travel mugs because they’re too easy to get knocked over when you have two dogs. I will be buying more and for me and giving these as gifts.

I like the lid with the sliding cover over the drinking area. I like the pretty aqua color. The surface is not smooth but has a slight texture to it, and the mug is a bit heavy because of it’s 16 oz capacity. It holds the heat of my coffee well, but I start by filling it with boiling water first. Next time I will buy a smaller mug for daily home use. The mug arrived sooner than promised and was packed nicely. Good service from the seller.

I love this cup. I'm one of those people whop pours myself a cup of coffee, then forgets about it, then it's cold by the time I go to drink it. This solves my problem because it keeps it hot for a long time! I hate using travel mugs around the house, it feels weird, so this feeling like a coffee cup, but having all the qualities of a travel mug is great. Plus the color is awesome. It doesn't blend in, so I know it's mine. I may or may not have also used this to drink mojitos in the pool. Having something unbreakable is a must there!

I have several vacuum insulated cups & mugs, but was eager to get this 16 oz mug which promised to keep my morning coffee hot "for hours". To put it bluntly, it simply doesn't. It's a nice mug, but is very thin and although it keeps hot coffee hot longer than a typical ceramic mug, only just barely. As expected the squared off handle isn't very comfortable or useful, but I was willing to accept that trade-off if to get coffee that stayed hot "for hours". Also, my lid fits loosely enough that coffee can dribble down the side of the mug as I drink. I don't see this issue mentioned by other reviewers, so maybe I just got unlucky and got one not quite to spec.Overall, it's not bad, just not good enough to be worth the purchase.

Good value. Seems solidly built. Keep drinks hot as expected; not sure how it compares to others in that regard.Less than ideal:-The sliding cover can be a bit tough to detach from the lid, because the retaining tabs (pinch to release) are a bit short.-This is a bit more dribbly than other such mugs that I have tried, especially when you're taking a slow sip. I think it might be because the lid top edge is wider than others I've tried. Not a huge issue, but I have to be careful that I don't dribble coffee onto my shirt or keyboard.

I use this mug for work and it keeps my coffee warm for several hours. Working at a computer, it was easy to get wrapped up in work and forget about the coffee that's sitting there getting cold. Microwave reheats were frequent and almost always ended up with that burnt coffee taste. I had been looking at the YETI mugs but I can't justify spending that much on a simple mug when there are more affordable options like this mug.It's been great overall. The unpainted stainless version (which I purchased) is safe for the dishwasher. The cap seal holds a coffee stain really easily and would have been better if it was black instead of semi-clear. Not a perfect mug but it's a very good mug. A definite recommend.

..with these mugs.They are just the size I wanted, and keep my coffee hotter than any other travel mug I've tried.They won't fit my cup holders, but thats ok with me.I've had it tip a few times already and not a drop was spilt.Very good quality product.

Bought for Father Xmas present who wanted a coffee mug that kept his coffee hot for longer.This one was the cheapest with best reviews at the time, and Dad says it's the best mug he's ever owned.Stubby, yet still holds lots of coffee. Works amazing in keeping the coffee hot, and walls thin enough it's still easy to drink.Best purchase if your looking for this type of mug, and also the best price.

These mugs are just what I was looking for. Great size, especially since they keep my coffee/tea warm for hours! I love how easy they are to clean (I hand wash mine even though it says dishwasher safe because the dishwasher is hard on the color coating) - the slide mechanism can be taken out easily and the seal slips off and on with no trouble. The mug seals really well, no spills even with my toddler trying to knock it out of my hands.The customer service was great.

I am using this steel mug for my tea and Cola drinks. It's large and convenient. Tea is hot for longer time. Vacum insulation walls of the mug keep it warm for hours. Good product if you like metal cups.
