Very interesting
I found this a very helpful book to read after the death of my partner of many years

It would have been better if Bill Bryson was the author.
It is difficult to work out if Dawkins is angry with, or contemptuous of, the poor benighted fools who disagree, not only with the key elements of Darwinism but with all the particular elements he describes in utter, tedious, detail. He is clever, (he let's you know that regularly) but his examples are ponderous and repetitive, with snide asides about the "others"...he and you are in the club, we can just laugh at "them". (By "them" I don't mean the creationists: I mean those that aren't in Dawkins' club.Sometimes he tries to get jokey, down with the kids, but just doesn't have the skill. As I read the book I just kept think that, if Bill Bryson had done it, he'd have succeeded as he's a communicator, not a zealot and lecturer.
