Hot water and soap wash twice before using.
The gloves themselves are well made, but whatever they are packaged in is not good. I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter, and even with an initial gentle no soap wash, her hands swelled so bad her fingers were straight for 3 days. It was not the material as she is a scuba diver, and after I washed them twice, in a regular wash cycle with soap and hot water, she stopped breaking out and swelling. She does enjoy them, and they work well, but beware to thoroughly wash them at least twice with soap and hot water before using.

I bought a medium as a large was mentioned for a man's hand, but they are VERY snug (small). If you are a woman with normal to large hands, definitely go for a bigger size.

I almost love these gloves
I really want to love these gloves. I ordered small according to their directions (for reference my hand measures a bit under 2.75 inches across the the knuckles of my palm. I fit into a small Speedo glove). The hand portion fit well but I could barely close the wrist (it stayed closed) & the finger openings were so tight the circulation to my fingers was getting cut off. Some of the reviews mentioned the gloves expanding in the water so I decided to give that a shot. It did a bit but my fingers were still really tight.I ordered these not to help me swim faster but for providing extra drag for working out. WOW did they do the job! Not only did I feel more resistance in my arms & shoulders but in my core as well. I also felt like I was working my legs a bit harder but that was not as noticeable as the upper body. I wish I had thought of getting these a lot sooner into my rehab (but better late than never, eh?). I'm hesitant to order the Medium since the palm fit so well but I really need to see how they work with my fingers & wrists. I'll post an update if I get the larger size. All in all I'm very happy with how these work. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to purchase them.

Needs better closure
I ordered these in November 2019 and have been using them about 1 hour per day, 6 times per week. About mid-January, the velcro closures started to lose their "grippy" quality, mostly from the over-sized hooks of the hook pad opening up and stretching out so they no longer gripped the loops on the loop pad. Easy enough fix but I figured these would last longer than 2 months. Other than that, they fit well, are well-made (edges are encased in a neoprene trim), and they are holding up to the rigors of an everyday swim. These are about as thick as craft felt that you would get from a craft store. They are very stretchy and are a snug fit for me. For reference my hand measures 7.5" from the base of the palm to the tip of my longest finger and is 9" in circumference just below the base of my four fingers across the palm. One thing to note about the hook-and-loop (Velcro) closures: I removed them and replaced them with some 23" x 7/8" hook-and-loop cable ties that I trimmed. The new straps ended up being about 11.5" long and wrap completely around my wrist with a 3.5" overlap. Haven’t had a problem with them since. I would recommend this product.

Very poor quality
I actually liked these gloves...a lot. They provided me with the extra swimming resistance I was looking for and they were comfortable to wear.My first issue was with the velcro closure on the right hand glove. The glove closure would open unless I placed the velcro halves together EXACTLY...but that was something I could deal with because I liked the gloves. Then one of the seams on the left hand began to come apart as you can see in the accompanying photos. The problem began a few days ago and the hole is getting bigger every day.I live on St. Croix in the USVI and I do a kilometer ocean swim almost every day so the gloves have been worn about 30 times but they should last longer (a lot longer) than that. I was planning to return them but my 30 day return window closed 8 days ago so it looks like I am stuck. Perhaps this rating will prevent you from having the same experience.

Great Adjunct to Workout
Bought these thinking they would generate a more challenging workout. They did this and more. After my first use(1000m), I was met with sore lats and deltoids the following day. After three weeks, decided to take them off and had the easiest workout I’ve ever had! The resistance they offer is perfect for swimmers of all ages but a training necessity for the competitive swimmer that wishes to improve their times. Great product! Only negative is that with continued use, the Velcro ceases to engage.

Stinky
These gloves work well for resistance in the water, HOWEVER, they stink to high heaven! I've washed them numerous times and the smell just will not go! Kind of a kerosene type smell which then transfers to your hands!

Doing it for me
I was a bit nervous about getting a cheaper pair of these gloves as I have been using the more expensive ones in the past but these are as good as. The velcro could maybe be a bit wider for those with narrower wrists but I still manage. More importantly is the fact that the velcro is strong and stays attached which has been a bit of an issue with other brands.

A Good Work-Out
You've got to hand it to them - these gloves make a big difference. I've found on backstroke they work my shoulders more, on breast stroke they work the chest muscles and on crawl the arms get a good work-out. I've tried to keep the pace the same as without gloves and I've shaved 5 minutes off my time to do 50 lengths! It also feels like I've had a good workout afterwards too. A friend got them first in our pool, now everyone's got them!

Fabulous
I was advised to buy a pair of swim glove's when I did my search I found these and ordered a pair well these are my second pair and I am really pleased with them, Highly recommend them and would buy again, they are comfortable to wear, I just rinse them in cool water along with my swim suit and swim shoes. Hang them to dry in garden, good value for money should add the Velcro is strong.

Seem OK , i have nothing to compare them too but i'm happy.
These are my first set for swim practice and they certainly help work the arms. However I try and do 500m with them on and 500m with them off, however you need to put them on dry before getting in the pool otherwise when wet the velcro doesn't hold.

They do the job but!
The TAGVO Aquatic Gloves do the job but there is a strong chemical smell that they give off. Even after washing it persists. However this does not affect what they do. They fit well,I bought the large size and they are tight but not circulation restricting. The velcro fastenings are not flimsy and so far after the second week off use I'd recommend them unless you are allergic to chemical fumes. Had they been a higher cost then yes I'd be disappointed.
