Easy to install and works great

I needed to move a solar panel for a security camera and found this bracket which was made for my purpose. It was very easy to install and the mounting screw for the solar panel fit perfectly. It allows you to adjust the angle of the solar panel to suit your needs and is very sturdy and has easily stood against 50+ mph winds.

Love how easy it is to install

For most applications, this is easy to install and holds the panel securely. However, if you need your solar panel to face back over the roof, it will only go as far as horizontal orientation in that direction, and does not have the reach to get the panel out of the shadow of the roof edge.

works as advertised perfect mounting solution

I have the Reolink cameras and solar panels. I always had problems with the camera in the back, not charging because the gutter was covering the Solar panel. Since I bought the gutter bracket, I have had no problems with the solar panel charging.

I was not sure if I was going to mount the Ring Solar panels on the outside edge of the gutter as these mounts are perfectly designed for. When on the ladder they do go on with a whole lot of turns of the screw to tighten them up. Three star rating due to design. The screws do not have a spinning end or tefflon anti scratch pad on them. Plan on the metal paint getting scuffed up.I ended up re configuring this mount by purchasing some 1/4" 20 thread bushings, 1/4" 20 threaded rod and made the wee mount for the solar panel attach to an extend arm to accommodate mounting the clamp to the gutter hanger to hide the solar panel and get a better angle to solar rays. It was easy enough to tighten the mount up horizontal to the internal gutter screw mounts.The cost for my "repurposed" use was consistent with a 3 star to value. But in a bind just did to get it done.

I purchased this Solar panel for my Ring Stick Up Cam located in my back door. Since my back door gets a lot of foot traffic, the battery dissipates a lot faster than my other cameras around the house. With just the battery power, my Stick Up Cam went from 100% down to 74% within 2 weeks with the power settings set to the recommended settings. After connecting the solar panel, my Stick Up Cam has been at a constant 100% for a week since hooking it up. The only issue I have is that the Ring description in the app says that ideally, the battery shouldn’t be at a full 100% all the time because it will degrade the battery life, and should shut off charging automatically when the battery reaches 80%. But, I noticed that the solar panel constantly charges the battery during daytime hours and doesn’t shut off when it is at 100%. I not sure if it’s a problem or not. I just hope my battery doesn’t wear down faster than normal because of this. All in all, Both the Solar Panel and the gutter mount work really well and am very happy with them! Eventually. I’m going to add Ring Solar Panels to all of my Ring cameras so I don’t have to worry about climbing up my ladder and changing batteries anymore.

Great design, quality could be better, but it this item works perfectly with my Ring spotlight camera and the Ring solar panel. Perfect mount if you have a gutter close by and would prefer not to use a drill to mount your camera.

I had high hopes for this gutter adapter. The base is made of metal, but the rest is plastic. As you can see in the pictures, there is a crack at what would hold my Reolink Solar Panel. The most important part of the adapter made of cheap plastic. Poor workmanship! I live where we have harsh Winters and freezing rain. I can see that part failing. This item is not worth the price paid.
