So fun and sweet! loved Stone and Dare’s story
4.5 stars- This series keeps getting better. I enjoyed this a tad more than previous book, just as fun and entertaining. Another win with the banter, I lol’d, I even happy cried. Mature, hard working and sexy men finding love, extra star for baby goats and dogs! Loved Dare and Stone!Poor Ollie! Can’t wait to read about his HEA

Super cute!
It’s a rival-neighbors-to-lovers story with a hilarious grumpy/sunshine couple, perfect for dog lovers and goat lovers. Stone’s humor totally cracked me up, and I ended up with a lot of highlighted quotes. This is great representation for the morosexual community—those sexually attracted to total idiots—as well as great older MC rep, more queer rep, and of course, more bears. 🐻Spice: 5/5Angst: 2/5

just as cute the second time around
I LOVE Dare and decided to revisit him and Stone to recover from another KM Neuhold book hangover. The misunderstanding in the beginning is just too funny! So glad they found eachother.

Fun
I think this is only the second book by this author I've read an I must say I'm lovin her style. The characters are quirky and fun. It was Great to see some of the players from the first book and I will definitely go for the third. This book is with Dare a grumpy neighbor of stones who just bought the fixer upper next door. Stone, one of the co-owners of the four bears construction company is funny and irreverent and lonely. When he tries to introduce himself to his new neighbor Dare is an ass back at him. This starts A prank war with Stone trying to get on Dares every nerve. This leads to many laugh out loud moments and when things finally calm down they start to heat up. Great story with a HEA.5/5 stars

grumpy meets himbo
I have to admit, Stone is kind of a himbo and I love it. Dare needed someone that would definitely take him out of his comfort zone. I liked the angry spice and the connection was electric.

Neighbor enemies-to-lovers
Dare I say this may have been better than the first book. Hehe, see what I did there. I know, I know, I cringe myself out too.Stone made me laugh so hard, as I predicted he would. He definitely was a pain in the ass and let’s just say I wouldn’t want to be his neighbor. That being said, he’s one of those characters where I could see myself having a good laugh with. His charming grins aren’t just for show though, he’s actually a kind and genuine person.Dare was such a closed off grump, but I do love a grumpy/sunshine trope. But I understand why he is the way he is. Most importantly, he may have anger issues, but he’s a big softie by heart. The way he cares for Rudy and his garden of butterflies is so sweet and gentle. You get to see a whole different side of Dare than the persona he presents to everyone else.I thoroughly enjoyed this read! Stone and Dare are my favorite couple as of now. As for the next book, I can already tell I’m going to eat the third book up because teacher/parent tropes are one of my favorites.

2nd book... Even Better!!! Be prepared for laughs!!!
Nailed is the 2nd book in the Four Bears Construction series and it is one of the funniest books I have ever read, especially for a romance. The 1st book was pretty funny, but this tops everything. This series was on my TBR and was recommended to me by an online book friend. When I started Nailed they kept wanting to to tell them where I was because they wanted to know if I had reached certain parts of the book. Eventually they gave me 2 specific words to look for (and not give any spoilers) and those 2 words are still used to compare other books to. Dare and Stone are perfect for each other and their attraction to each other is stong and nearly combustible. There are some massivly steamy scenes and some steamy scenes that are also some of the funniest that I have ever read before and probably will never again.

Sweet story, confusing characters
I wish there were half stars. I wasn’t sure what to rate this book. I did enjoy it but it didn’t stand out to me as a fave for a few reasons and it took me longer to read than most romances do.I spent the first half of the book struggling to tell the difference between the characters. Their ridiculous manly one-syllable names didn’t help (eventually what helped was realizing the one is called Stone because he works in construction 😂). I wish that Stone had been a bit more developed from the start as I found it difficult to get behind the romance when his only redeeming quality was that he liked the dog (but even the way he acted with the dog was annoying at times eg the vet thing and feeding snacks without permission). I still don’t know what Stone looks like but his goofy personality came though in the second half.Other than that the writing was solid and the trope of a gruff character finding love remains one of my favourites.

Hilarious
Stone and Dare were adorably hilarious. And the goats, omg. I put this book off too long because it was enemies to lovers, but I'm glad I finally gave it a try!

The jerk next door
Another fantastic book from this series! Stone and Dare were an awesome enemies-to-lovers bit, with some real heatbbehijd the anger from the attraction that kept brewing between the two. Finding out the reasons for the hatred and watching it slowly turn around (because it does not happen all at one) was an awesome read!Stone moved into his new house next to Dare in the first book. In that moment of move in and interaction it was clear that Dare didn't like his new neighbour, but never clear why. When you learn why it is both a little amusing (a case of some major misunderstanding) as well as telling of Dare's own past experiences. The fact that Stone's response to that hatred is to lean into it is beyond ridiculous, but the whole time you can see the reluctant attraction between the two and hope it will work out.As the two men get to know each other it is clear they have more in common than they knew and they work together really well. The fact that they are both 'on the wrong side of forty' (which is crazy) has given them both a bit of baggage, but nothing they can't work through or work past. The way that the friendships they have are just as important as the relationship the two of them are building felt so true and added to the joy of their building something, as well as the fear it wouldn't work out. It was a ridiculous and funny story with a growing heart and plenty of hot and sexy times. Great read!

Great laughs
Stone and Dare had me laughing all through the book.Stone's shenanigans at the beginning, all the things he did only to irritate Dare were hilarious. I cheered when they eventually cleared the misunderstanding that started the prank war and they started acting out on their attraction.Nailed is the perfect example of enemies to lovers trope. Brilliantly written animosity, chemistry and feelings. Loved it!
