Disney Character Old Book Case for iPhone 5 (Monogram)

I've had this case for a week so far. No wear and tear yet. Looks great, fits just fine, though whenever I take a picture I have to remember to push the phone down a little bit or the edge of my photo will be slightly darkened by the edge of the camera hole. I was glad to find that the cover easily flips around behind the phone when I want to use the screen with both hands (though I know I shouldn't keep it flipped all the way over when I'm on a call, or it'll block the noise-cancelling microphone beside the camera, which I'm told will make my calls sound muffled). It is a little difficult to get to the mute switch (in a small hole) or the volume up/down buttons (covered by leather); fortunately I don't need to reach them often. I haven't put any credit cards into the sleeve with the Mickey cutout because it's sewn flush with the backing and I'm afraid that anything I put there will stretch it.All things considered, this is an attractive (and attention-getting) case, and I've got no complaints with it at this price.

The only part of this case that is genuine leather in the inner frame part that you slide the phone into.The phone outer cover and inner sleeve are all really cheap vinyl made to look like leather. It's very hard to raise or lower the volume as there are just little dots over the buttons. Putting the phone on silent is difficult as well as you have to reach into the cutout to get to the control. In addition it's very difficult to have a conversation on the phone with the case on and equally hard to hear.I was so excited to receive this case as I was hoping it would have compared it to another leather book like cover that I had for my 4S.I am so disappointed.

I love this case so much I bought another just in case this one dies. I have used it with sweaty hands and have noticed no fading.The case is sturdy and saved my phone many times. I have started keeping it open, snapping it backwards and slipping my fingers in. This works great as a handle while reading.My only two concerns are that the snap is pulling loose. Velcro would be better.The case is made of leather which due to it's nature, stretches. It has shifted so it hides my sensor so my iPhone screen turns off while I try to use the keypad during a call.

Shipped quickly.A little expensive for what you get.Kept in pocket and gold design wearing off after 3 months of daily use.Would consider buying the other Disney designs.

It's nice but the markings fade easily.... Wouldn't have been great if it didn't fade that easily. Nice prints but fade easily
