ÉH's New Direction
I own many Émile Henry pieces from a number of different lines but Delight is my favorite so far. The pieces are thicker than those from the other lines, plus they have a wonderful matte finish that's delightful to the touch. Perhaps most importantly, the Delight line requires no pre-seasoning before use--just wash it and you're good to go.Foods cook beautifully in Émile Henry and this Dutch oven is no exception. I use it to cook cholent overnight in a slow oven and it's perfect for that task. I do wish that a 6-quart size had been available but this one does nicely if your needs aren't huge. Some color options would have been nice as well but the line is so visually appealing that I couldn't resist. If it's in your budget, you shouldn't resist it either.

TRULY DISAPPOINTED
This was incredibly disappointing. When you invest THIS MUCH MONEY, on imported ceramic cookware, you would think it would get treated better than having the original packaging tossed loosely into an oversized Amazon box with ZERO packaging material around it.

Emile Henry newest line is indeed a DELIGHT.,
I have ordered 3 pieces of the new Delight range and am very happy with them. I have arthritis issues, and they are as EH claims a much lighter product to lift and carry, I have an AGA range and lifting heavy pots full of hot food from the bottom ovens has become a bit of challenge.
