It has a very very very..very strong marine smell. It's like you are licking a green stuff off the rock that sit at the coast of the ocean. This could means good or bad depends on your liking. I personally don't know what to think. I eat nori & wakame on everyday basis, and some ppl already complain about how fishy they smell. Good lord just hope they never try this one.I eat loads of onigiri and I bought this dulse powder because of its colour. It adds pretty colour to my rice ball. To this I give 5 stars for aesthetics. For flovour, I'm still stunned.Moreover, I don't know what is that branched pattern on the inside of the sachet. Have a look at the picture I added. It's definitely something. I emptied the sachet and found out it was some kind of dusty particles. It easily wiped away with my fingers. It could be just a dusty part of something off the seaweeds but still, how the heck it grows in to that pattern. If anybody knows what it is please let me know. By the way I already ate some of it hope I'm not poisoning myself.

Bought this after researching it’s benefits to health & was not disappointed ,given I came down with a horrid spring flu virus that would usually take weeks to go , due to low immune system, I added this to morning organic smoothies & soups along with Irish moss & within 6 days was back up & running , so very pleased with the outcome & will continue to use forever more , as the proof in the pudding was a quick recovery ,

I love the taste of seaweed seasoning because it is more that just salty. It really does enhance and give a wonderful flavour to dishes.The taste of the sea is blooming marvellous, I live by the sea and love it.

I can not get enough. Definitely will be back for more! It is a great substitute for salt and is packed with iodine. Even more so, it's organic. So, if you need a natural source of salt and iodine this is the best choice.
