Not A Great Taste, Overpriced, But Does Work
The idea of an energy/focus boost shot isn’t anything new, though this particular supplement is more natural based and contains cleaner ingredients with naturally occurring caffeine as a more healthy alternative. Each small 33ml focus shot drink contains Vitamin B6, B12, B5, Ginseng, Green Tea and some other minerals and botanical extracts to reduce tiredness, increase mental alertness and boost cognitive focus. Each pack comes with 10 individual shot drinks. The packaging is premium and the sachets come in a nice soft touch box. The packaging uses FSC certified wood that’s been sustainably sourced, and the bottles are plastic which is recyclable so I don’t feel too bad about excess waste. My box does have a best before date in mid 2022.The supplement drink does not have a pleasant flavour, and has a very sharp taste that is not good at all. It does contain sweeteners - Sucralose and Stevoil, but it does not have a sweet flavour. The colour of the liquid is a muddy brown which is somewhat off-putting (I guess that’s why the plastic bottles are black instead of clear). It's drinkable, but not something you’d look forward to.Overall, I’ve had four of these focus boost shots so far when I was feeling tired working from home and needed a quick pick me up, and they did work & provide me a focus boost, but honestly, a quick cup of coffee would have achieved the same result for me.Thank you for reading my review, if you found it helpful feel free to let me know below.

It works surprisingly but not cheap
I am a bit sceptical with things like this and before trying these I wouldn't have considered using them, however they popped up on my list of products to try and I had been feeling a little unfocussed in the afternoons at work so thought I would give them a try.I actually had my shots with lunch as I find the afternoon is the time I struggle and I have to say they did help me focus and I have been getting quite a bit of work done. These are not going to make you run round and give you lots of energy but for me they did focus my mind in the afternoons. They come packaged in a box with little instruction on what constitutes a shot but as soon as you take the little plastic bottles out it all becomes clear as it is written on the front that one bottle is a shot and furether investigation states it's to be taken with or straight after a meal.As soon as you open the bottle the smell hits you, its actually quite inviting and smells good, I actually really like the taste as well, its quite sweet. I suppose the taste wont be for everyone but its not something I think anyone would dread taking. So all good so far, then what's the catch, well it's the cost. These are not cheap at £2.50 per day, I think it's something you could use in short bursts if you had an important project to finish but I don't think its feasible to take them all the time. I would also imagine a few cups of strong coffee might do just as well for some people though for me I felt these had the edge.A good product that worked for me but it's just not feasible to take all the time due to the cost, however if you need a quick boost of concentration to finish a project or hit a deadline these could do the trick.

Limited Success
The Swisse brand is one that I have heard positive things about so I was intrigued to try the Ultiboost Focus and Concentration Liquid Shots. The pack contains 10 x 30 ml bottles which you take once a day with food. The taste is a slightly odd mix of herbs and I think caramel, it was not unpleasant though. I found that taking these gave me an initial burst of energy and made me more focused in what I was doing but it was short lived and after a couple of hours or so it seemed to wear off and I felt tired, I should point out that being tired is a normal state for me, so basically I just returned to my usual self rather than crashed because of taking the Ultiboost. The time where it was working it felt good as I really did focus, which is a real positive as I often get easily distracted by another task that needs doing. So, I have to admit these were not a complete success for me but it was maybe I am just too much of a challenge! I would say they are worth trying to see if they work for you as when they did work they worked well, but for me they needed to work for a longer period of time.

These shots pack a punch!
As my job entails a lot of multitasking, often at times I would feel myself getting overwhelmed by everything happening around me and not being able to focus at the task at hand. I have been taking one of these small shot bottles with me on the way to work for several days now (straight after breakfast), replacing coffee and any other caffeinated drinks during the day.Wow, I must say these shots really work and I’m very happy with the effects it’s had on me. These shots taste quite botanical and herby, which I personally was very fond of. I love the micro size of the bottles, it’s easy to put in your bag/pocket for when you’re on your way to work. It is packed with Siberian Ginseng, Green Tea, vitamin B6 and other vitamins that will not only help fight fatigue during the day, but also keep you alert, focused and full of positive energy throughout the day. These also have some caffeine in it so perhaps consider this when purchasing, however it is less than a cup of coffee and provides positive effects for brain function.Sure, these are a little expensive, but the way I see these is they are kind of your morning coffee and vitamin supplement duo in one, ready to kickstart your day on a positive note, and if you take into account it’s convenience and positive cognitive and physical effects, I personally believe they’re a great personal investment and worth every penny!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
