No. A knife alone doesn’t work. You need this. My cakes are so awesome now!

The knife and the one wire leveler were good but one wire on the double wire leveler was loose so it was not usable.

It was a gift, and the person who received it was not happy, as She claims it does not cut a gluten free sponge dough, the strings seems to bend so that's defiantly not good, She did not try it on the regular sponge dough, and asked me to return it, so we won't know how it would work on other types of cake dough, but I will still give 4 stars because it was not problem contacting the seller nor any problems with returning process.
