Not sure about this, the smell is covered by scent. I did read it is from slaughtered horses. (Which puts me off using it) Not for me and a waste of money.

I bought this in April 2021 when I noticed my hair going thin at the front, I've used it once or twice a week along with my normal shampoo and conditioner to make sure my hair is still shiny and smooth, and these are the results in 5 months! My hair has definitely grown back in the places it had gone thin, and I will continue to use it. The thinning had been happening over a couple of years or more and I hadn't noticed until it was quite noticeable to me and others, so to get this result in just 5 months is brilliant! I'm still on the first bottle, so it lasts a long time too, great value for money.

Used this twice I won’t be using it again. Makes the hair very very dry. It’s got the right name horse oil it’s probably best to use it on your horses main & tail if you have a horse. LOL
