FanimationKute 52 inch Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Black Blades

Our first ceiling fan was the NYT Wirecutter pick - The Westinghouse Comet 52". I installed it myself - with knowledgeable help - and it's fine. It wasn't as quiet as I hoped. But it's in my office so no big deal.When looking for a fan for our bedroom, I decided I needed something much quieter than the Comet and this is the pick! Sure it's more expensive, but it's worth it. It is dead quiet. It moves a lot of air. And it's much easier to install than the comet.We liked it so much, we bought a 2nd Kute for our living room.

I installed two of these in my screened-in porch, replacing some cheap fans the previous owners had installed. The Fanimation fans are a huge upgrade. They look great, seem very well-built, and most important for me, they move a lot of air with no noise at all. The remotes are handy (and very easy to program to control the two fans separately without interference). I also added the light kit and the wifi module. The one complaint I have is that the app for the wifi module is pretty terrible. The base fan (what this listing is about) doesn't include wifi, so I'm not going to knock a star off for it. And at the end of the day, it does work. But do be aware that if you're going to add the wifi module, the app is really bad. Despite that, I'm extremely happy with these fans.

The media could not be loaded.  Fan didn’t work. I have 3 Fanimation Kute fans that I have installed in my home. Tried to save money by buying one from here and it wasn’t worth it. Their fan didn’t work and it took several frustrating hours to make sure the fan was bad fan.I installed it like I had the previous black Fanimation Kute fans that I bought from Lowe’s and this one just didn’t work. Checked the wiring and then tested that it was getting power. Tried re-connecting the wires, but still the fan just wouldn’t work.Wouldn’t buy from here again. It’s not worth the wasted time and effort.
