One of the first two ordered arrived with top fitting broken. The company sent a replacement without quibble or delay. These are long spikes and certainly not expensive by comparison with other makes. Ideal on a sand-beach, they take a good hold and are so easy to move before the tide. All things considered, 5*.

Not had a chance to use it yet but I didn’t expect the end piece to come off in my hands while unpacking it. It was held on by the smallest dab of Glue. Ive now fixed it on securely and am waiting for a decent tide to try it out.

Great product for beach fishing, used it as a base stand whilst surf lure fishing, better then putting your rod on the beach!

Does not come with screw to hold in place

Fantastic for barbel fishing, compact and lightweight, and when stuck in the ground its like it grew there. 😂

Better than I thought it would be. Mine came complete with the adjustment screw. Plenty of adjustment and it holds the rod securely. The metal part is sturdy 3mm aluminium but care will be needed when putting it into the beach. You won't be able to hammer it in with a rock because of the plastic parts. With care it should last though.
