A must read for anyone in the Non Profit world!
This has to be one of my favourite books on Fundraising. I am a newby to the world of non profit development but this book really gave me the confidence to move forward and it came to me at the right time. It's so simple yet relevant, strategic and practical. I'm actually in Fundraising School with Rachel right now, which is also incredible but the book on its own stands high on merit. I would recommend this to anyone in the non profit world. Rachel's style of storytelling is so genuine and moving and her advice valuable. It's a must have in fundraising on my list!As you can tell from the picture, I had at least 25 sticky notes in the book. The book itself is small and easy to get through, 150 pages around but Rachel covers so much ground so precisely and so well! I bought an extra copy for a colleague and may buy a few more to give away. The book includes simple templates that can easily be used to retrofit your own organization and even personalize wherever needed to fit an organization of any size. Overall, a great read with great value.

Must-read for every nonprofit CEO
This book should be required reading for every nonprofit CEO, board member, and staffer. Rachel’s no-nonsense approach and grounded, step-by-step tactics demystify the process of fundraising so that anyone who follows the road map can achieve success. She includes helpful, concrete examples of how to involve board members in fundraising and reasons why they might not be successful (intimidation, spotty onboarding, introverted) and solutions to make it fun and successful for everyone in the organization to make fundraising a leadership priority. Rachel’s real-world expertise, concrete examples, and abundance mindset outline not just a fundraising how-to manual, but also an inspiring take of how giving back shaped the incredible learning journey to a successful, happy, fulfilled life and fundraising career. I’ll be recommending this book to all my peers and nonprofit clients.
