📸 Capture the Moment, Not the Moisture!
HYDROSORBENT® Moisture Absorbers are reusable silica gel desiccant canisters designed to absorb moisture and protect your valuable electronics. Each 40gm pack contains two mini canisters that effectively absorb 3 cubic feet of moisture, making them ideal for cameras, telescopes, and other sensitive equipment. Proudly made in the USA, these rechargeable dehumidifiers are built to last over 3 years, ensuring your gear remains safe from rust and corrosion.

These work great.
First, there's a reason that all silica gel packs have a "do not eat" label on them. They're not good to eat, mostly because they are such good water absorbers. Similar to Portland cement in that respect. As to the cobalt scare? From the msds sheets on similar products, it's less than 1% indicator, and these are sealed up. Again, harmful level about the same as silica sand. (No kidding, play sand can cause silicosis.)You shouldn't pack this, or ANY non-edible desiccant directly in food. The aluminum isn't good for you, the silica gel isn't good for you, and none of the indicators are, either. Instead, pack the food in bags, then place those bags in another sealed bag with the desiccant.Anyway, these work great. I used them to keep 3-d filament dry, in mylar bags or metal boxes, and to keep electronics and photo equipment dry. They'll last longest in metal containers with good seals. Next best is heat sealed aluminized mylar bags. Next is probably heavy plastic containers. Worst is plastic bags. Plain plastic bags let a lot of water through, even if the bags are thick. How long do they last? Depends on the humidity. In the southwest, probably a long time. Up here in the north east? Not as long.

I'm a chemist and I tell you this is a very good product
Keeps my gun vault (where I keep it at night, next too my bed) nice and dry. We live in a very high humidity area, and I only have to reactivate the beads every few months. And the beads do extremely well during the healing process. No problems. Color indicator works as advertised. I do have a degree in chemistry, so I know what I'm talking about. This is a very good product.

seems to work
You can reset it by baking it

I have done this several times and it still works great. Great product
I put this in my drone electronic cases and my camera equipment cases and it keeps all the moisture out of it. When the colour changes, I simply put it in the oven and it recharges it again. I have done this several times and it still works great. Great product

Great item for the safe
These worked out great. We put them in the safe as well as the gun safe. I checked them the other day and they needed to be "refreshed" so I put them on our wood burning stove to dry them out again.I am glad we purchased these since there is so much moisture in our safes and that is not good for my jewelry or our guns.

Damaged when arrived
3 stars mostly because the way the product arrived, bought a 2 pack and both were damaged, one so much it had been punctured and silica beads had spilt inside the package. The other one completely smashed on one side but still usable hopefully...

Good dessicant can - works well
I used these in a closed space and they work well. Easy to regenerate in the oven - will last for a long long time. Much better in my opinion than the small plastic packs.

Keeps the moisture out!!
I purchased two of these canisters for my shotgun case and they work just fine. Every other week I put them in the oven @ 300 degrees until they returned to dark blue. These should last indefinitely.
