I ordered this watch because I liked the design of the hands and the face. I am particular about my watches and the appearance is aesthetically pleasing to me, for a sport watch. The band is a bit uncomfortable probably because I am an older woman but I expected that in a larger, heavier watch. ..(Supposed to be unisex) ..I know the band can be changed. The markings on the outside dial are an off white which detracts from the design a little, in my opinion( photo of watch shows white) however,I like the red’ accents’.It is too soon to comment on water resistance or battery life or overall ruggedness ( I have pets and lots of messy chores some days).

I loved the style of this watch for a casual, active option… unfortunately after a couple weeks I learned that my watch was losing time, and inconsistently at that. I even swapped out the battery for a new one, to no avail. Thankfully, Amazon did accept the return, and maybe it was a bad apple… but I didn’t feel like trying another one to find out.

Within the first 3 months of ownership my Columbia watch leaked after swimming. Columbia stated (or rather the 3rd party contractor that handles their warrantees) that “If you look at the types of activities the models are performing in our brochure, Columbia watches are not for swimming activities”. Huh!? Will never buy another Columbia product again and tell all my friends the same.
