Not some cheap plastic accessory. I was fearful that the magnet wasn't going to be strong enough, or it would be hard to line up the couplers with my helmet was on my head. But the magnets self align with the hose, and hold better than I hoped. I immediately bought one for each helmet.Well worth the cost to keep the hose ends from deforming over time from constant attach/detach cycles.

Very expensive for what you get. Works really well. Cry about it once or cry about it over and over again? I am crying once at the price. Probably won’t spend that much for my passenger.

This is a brilliant product. Super easy to install and super easy to use. The end that goes onto the hose was a little hard to push on so I heated it up with a hair dryer to make it more pliable and it went right on.When using it, you just put the hose end in the vicinity of the magnet on the helmet side and the hose snaps into place and stays in place. I feel it is a safety issue too. For any reason you have to get out of the vehicle quickly, it easily pulls apart. When the hose is directly connected to the helmet, it can he hard to wiggle off. Can't say enough about this. I consider it a much have for anyone with a pumper helmet.Great idea, Great product. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

This product is great for anyone riding a sxs who uses a fresh air system for their helmet. Quickly and securely attach your hose to the magnet on your helmet air intake. So much quicker than trying to pry it on and off. Love this product!

The clamp that attaches the to the helmet ( in my case a Bell Qualifier) are secured by two TINY bolts that you tighten with a 1.5mm L-wrench. If Maglock had used LARGER diameter & LONGER stainless steel socket head bolts that were just a little longer, I would appreciate this product more. The screws are too short and strip out very easily. The screws were barely long enough to engage the threads in the clamp. Will it stay attached with this flimsy setup. The supplied L-wrench is too short to tiny to turn with one hand. Additionally, the part that attaches to the hose is too small to fit on the Rugged Radio brand air pumper hose….which I didn’t find out until AFTER I had cut off the end as directed in the instructions. The instructions say to apply a bead of silicone but do not provide that. This product could be great with just a little more refinement. At this time, I’d like to punch somebody in the nose for cutting corners with the hardware. I’m angry that this product costs so dang much considering the poor hardware includedMy other issue concerns the supplied screw for attaching the hose dock to my machine. It is simply to short to go thru my roof (all 1/4” of it) and engage the threads of the dock. I had to go to my local hardware store and purchase a screw of adequate length to get the job done, very irritating considering the cost of the product.If Maglock were to address these issues this would have been a 5 star review, however as it now stands I can only give it 3 stars.

The Maglock work amazing. We race a Jeep in the desert my fresh air hose always came loose. Our last race in Parker we had no problems with the Maglock even over the big bumps on Sunday hose stayed secured. Highly recommended this product. Just wish the offered contingency $$$.
