It's "ok" .. very light... feels cheap.gave 3 stars... it's more like 2.5
Yeah.. It's ok. But for the money, You and I would be expecting something with heavy wooden legs. This does not have them. They are light, petite. It looks ok. But it feels cheap.. and over priced.I kept it... but it always bugged me that I had hoped for better and got mediocre.Again... you could blow this over.. so it just does not feel like a $263 lamp. As I write this.. I should have sent it back..but... I settled.

It was the style I was looking for.
Would have liked the tripod legs to have a little more 'heft' to them, but it is a nice design. Sometimes the shade goes a little 'wonky,' but when it all comes together, I consider it a good buy and a nice addition to the living room.

Stylish but too expensive
It looks good but even on sale it was too expensive for the materials used.

Length of shipping was horrendous; lamp is awesome
I ordered the walnut tripod floor lamp from Lamps Plus. It took weeks (over three) for the lamp to arrive. Every time I called or emailed to find out what the delay was I was told it is in transit. This explanation was pretty frustrating because obviously it was in transit; I wanted to know where it was and when it would be delivered. The worst part was it sat here in St. Louis for over a week before it was delivered to my house. Evidently Lamps Plus uses Fed-Ex who transfers the shipments over to the US Postal Service. Lamps Plus promoted this as free shipping, but did not warn it would take 3 weeks. I would have preferred to pay for shipping and get it faster. On a more positive note the lamp is terrific and surpassed my expectations.

Missing Screw
I really like the lamp but it was shipped missing one of the thumb screws used to set the height of the legs. I was able to find one at work though and you don't notice it doesn't match the other two exactly.

Looks OK from afar. We have had the lamp for 7 years now. It has caused us issues from the beginning as the fasteners on the tripod legs come loose and the whole lamp begins to tilt and becomes unsteady. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Will not dissappoint!
This product delivered 100%. Received it withing 2 weeks of purchase. Very easy to assemble. Adjustable wood legs with a nice finish, and a great lamp shade with nice trim detail. Good quality. I could not be more pleased-looks like a high end lamp.

Not worth it
This product is junk. It's flimsily and falls over so easily. It has no weight to it what-so-ever. I'm not even sure that it's real wood. The shade is very 1960s, and not in a cool vintage kind of way. The "feet" have scratched my hardwood floors, and if you walk by it too briskly it'll move. It was a lot of money for a poorly made product. Also the packaging it came in was outrageous. So much styrofoam, huge box for this small lamp (since the legs came not fully extend). It was a huge waste of materials. Also I've had many comments about this lamp not being attractive and not going with our decor. I'm not happy with it at all.
