Was not the right size
It will not fit the standard size, from home depot, I ordered the right size but this was not 1/2in according to the drip line hose from here.

So easy
I have drip irrigation hoses in a landscape bed. I am always adding new plants, which means I am digging. Not surprisingly, I often will nick my hose. These couplers are the absolute easiest thing I have ever found to repair a leak. I always keep 2-3 on hand just in case. Its fast, its easy and I can't image gardening without them.
