Herb percentages are useless to me, and many consumers want/need quantitative data...
I wrote Crystal Star asking for dosages (in milligrams) of some of the specific herbs in the supplement (herbs which I'm already consuming individually) to see if maybe I could take this blend rather than multiple pills daily. I received the following reply from Crystal Star regarding my inquiry:"Sorry, these are proprietary blends so I can not give that information out."So consumers are to blindly take a supplement blend, not knowing if they're getting 5mg or 1000mg of any one herb? My healthcare provider has recommended specific dosages of specific herbs, most of which are in Vari-Vein. I was hoping this blend might be a suitable replacement rather than consuming a handful of herbs individually, but not knowing the dosage of herbs in the Crystal Star Vari-Vein supplement is a deal breaker for me. Should anyone be interested, I was given this rather useless information from Crystal Star on Vari-Vein instead:As far as the breakdown of the formula, here are the ratios per capsule:Hawthorn 8%Gotu Kola 8.4%Butcher's Broom 6%Grape Seed 5%Bilberry 5%Horse Chestnut 4%It is hard to say how much Aescin is in the Horse Chestnut because we use whole herb blends, not standardized extracts.Green Tea is 8% and White Tea is 6%, it is hard to determine how much caffeine is in the formula as it is a component of these herbs.Crystal Star: Herb percentages are useless to me, and many consumers want/need quantitative data of the supplements they're consuming, i.e.: a measured dose of each herb per serving. Also, I can't be the first to ask how much caffeine is in any of your supplements containing green & white tea leaves. This can be measured and you should be able to provide customers with such data.

Product received as promised. Guess it's helpful. No way to quantitatively analyse the results
