So far so good
I have a cat water fountain but the pump stopped working after a few months. Bought this to replace the pump and it appears to be working well so far. It was very easy to switch out the old pump. I’m hoping it holds up longer than the last one.

Works great if YOU take care of it
Pump works really well but only if you clean it regularly. I always clean the entire fountain (we have the Veken) every weekend. Take apart all the pieces and wash everything with dish soap and little brush to get into all the nooks. That includes opening of the pump and cleaning the 3 pieces as well as the inside. It's not complicated because it takes less than a minute to do that, but it needs to be done. Otherwise the pump will not turn on when you plug it in again.**THERE IS A TRICK YOU CAN TRY IF THE PUMP DOESN'T TURN ON. Make sure you have enough water to cover the pump. Plug it in and when it doesn't pump, gently stick a toothpick inside the round hole to sort of jump start the rotor, it just needs a little push to start turning. This works every time I've tried it in the past. It's been the best fail proof method for me. No need to buy a new pump every time it stops. But know that it will only stop when YOU don't clean it. Usually, if there is grime on the rotor it won't pump. I hope this helps!

New pump is silent and works great. No need to replace entire cat fountain, and saved $.

Epically like the light
I wish they lasted longer. Keep them cleaned. Take apart and wash. Then they just die. Not the sellers fault. You are just hooked into constantly having to replace them.

Lasted almost 9 mths
I ordered in Jan and it already stopped working. May need to try a different brand.

Easy to install
This pump works great and it installed easily. The light doesn’t fit in the slot in the bottom of the fountain, but that doesn’t matter as far as functionality.

Easy to clean. Very quiet running. Make sure keep tank full or it will stop running. Value is not bad.

Puurrfect fit
Ok. My cats have let me leave the house again after replacing the pump in their water fountain. It is working again after ordering this on Amazon. It was a perfect fit and shipping was quick. Everyone was allowed to live.

Came quickly but was surprised to how small it was
Received well before the item it is a spare for. When I received the fountain I realised why the spare pump was so small. The fountain was much smaller than I expected
