LG MDS47123619 Genuine OEM Door Gasket (Grey) for LG Front-Load Washing Machines

Fit my washer just fine, some what of a pain to replace but it was ment for my washer and that's what was important. Haven't had any issues with product and seller shipped in timely manner.

Goes on pretty easily, the ring and spring are difficult to reinstall

The washing machine boot was perfect for our LG washer.What no one says is you need the spring removal tool with the bent ends to get at the springs in certain models, so the straight spring removal tool may not work for you.Research your model first and go find a video, to see what tool you need.Saved several hundred $$$ from someone to fix it though, by doing this ourselves, works like a charm and no mildew or mold now! Took about an hour with 2 people, was not hard at all.

The fit amd quality was great but this item is missing the boot seal drain hose that's a molded part of the original in my LG WM3500CW machine. A visit to the hardware store for a 90° shark bite 1/2" x 1/2" elbow, some extra hose, and an additional hose clamp had me in business buy ut sure was annoying to deal with! Had I known, I would've made sure to verify that ahead of time but clothes need to be washed in this house!

This was a perfect match for the LG WM3500CW front door boot. Seems like the OEM or just as good. Not too tricky to replace, but make sure you get the spring tension relief pliers with the tapered wider tines. There are some pliers that will not stretch wide enough and it will make it very difficult to replace.

Our original seal had mold that I couldn’t get out so I decided to order a replacement. It’s such a pain to replace, but it’s much easier if you just pull the front of the washer off. Makes attaching the springs much easier. New one is a tight fit but it’s supposed to be. Perfect replacement and no mold in sight on this one!

The gasket fit LG model number WM3600HVA, but there is a catch.My original bellows had a molded in drain extension that clamped right to the drain. This one DOES NOT have that extension. If your original bellows has the same extension drain piece, you will have to fabricate a connection hose with a barbed fitting that will attach to the small port on this door gasket like I had to do.I your gasket requires this drain piece on the bottom, KEEP LOOKING for another model.I managed to fabricate a makeshift hose until I can properly fit a better drain, but this means I will have to go back to my repairs until the pile of laundry is done!Besides the lack of a drain hose that I needed, it fits well with my model number washer.I just wish that it included the drain piece. You could have just snipped off the drain hose if you didn't need it.Amendment: I managed to find a drain section on Ebay to make this work. a drain hose specific to this style of gasket without the attached drain.
