Pet Chinchilla Hut Hideout Natural Wooden Small Animal Hideout for Chinchilla Squirrel Sugar Gliders (A)…

I was looking for something cool and modern for my new hedgehog. I was completely shocked by the lack of options that are available for small pet homes. I was so excited when I came across this. I painted it in non-toxic pet friendly paint and sealed it with a coat of pet friendly, non-toxic "poly". I figured this would help with cleaning. The box is very study and well made. The cost was awesome. I am so happy how it turned out, and so was my hedgehog. She took to it right away.

I got this for our chinchilla. I wasn't sure if he would like it, but he climbed right in and has been there all day. Thank you for an excellent product!Just one quick note...it came a few weeks earlier than I expected, I didn't get an Amazon notification, and it had the most creative packaging ever. I wasn't sure if I should call the bomb squad. When I started opening it, I realized what it was, and was thrilled.

Easy to attach to the cage. I mainly got this to prevent my chin from going behind his huts and chewing on his cage or just moving them around in general- and that problem was fixed with this. However he does also chew on this hut like he did the other ones I had before (different brand) and I can see the pieces come off in splinters... which doesn’t seem safe. The huts he had before only came off in chunks of wood.Other than that he seems to like it, though he hasn’t figured out he can go inside yet.

Our chinchilla loves this HUT. It is well made and even comes with hardware to attach to inside of cage. We did not need to attach as it stands up very nicely without Chilly moving it around though. Easy to clean out and a joy for him to hide in.

I first ordered the hut with the three holes to see if my chinchilla would be comfortable in it. She loves it and loves to chew on it. So then, I ordered the smaller one-hole hut so hang for her and she loves that too!! I will say that it is too small for an average chinchilla, but she really doesn’t seem to mind as she uses the hole as a headrest. And I just ordered another one-hole hut to hang on the other side of the enclosure!! These are so easy to install, move, clean and they are chinchilla approved!!

My younger chinchillas love this hide. They do chew on it now and then, but they keep it in tact. Cleaning it out can be interesting since you have to fully remove it from the cage, and my chinchillas don't like it leaving their cage. Half the time when I take it out a chinchilla is coming with it. I do recommend this hide.

I have a small male chinchilla. He has been in it 3 times, but he still prefers to use it as a ledge. I believe the hole could have been cut just a bit bigger. It is beautifully crafted, sturdy, it now is a occasional hideout and ledge, so I will go with 3 stars. If your chin really likes small spaces and hideouts, it could be a good idea for yours. :)
