I'm doing a comparison of two products
I'm in the process of comparing this product, Carapex Fine Line Eye Serum with Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm, 0.5 Fl Oz. I don't really have a lot of wrinkles unless I squint my eyes but I do have some puffiness under my eyes and darkness in the corners between eyes and bridge of nose. I don't think either product are meant to help with my dark areas. Each product has its plusses. The Carapex Fine Line Eye Serum is VERY light, clear, non-greasy, no perfumes and a teeny dot of product goes a LONG way. It is super easy to apply with a finger tip. It comes in a dark bottle. The Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm comes in a small tube and is more like a lotion, white, a tiny dot goes far and it feels very moisturizing but doesn't leave you feeling greasy at all. This product doesn't have perfumes either. I LOVE the Alchimie brand face scrub/exfoliator and use it 2-3 times a week. It has actually improved the quality of my skin. So I thought I would be leaning toward more products from that brand. HOWEVER, and this is BIG! The Alchimie is only 0.5 oz at $45 while the Carapex is 2 oz at $20. For the same amount (2 oz) of Alchimie it will run you $180!!! Still, I really love the Alchimie Gentle Refining Scrub, and you do you just a fat pea size of product.

Aged perfume smell - mildly hydrating
I am passionate about beauty care and know the importance of products performing up to expectations. Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm is currently listed in Professional beauty. The ingredient profile does not list a perfume but there is a heavy perfume scent that smells "aged". This smells like dated beauty cream and did not demonstrate powerful rejuvenating abilities that I have seen and expect from professional beauty products. It did hydrate my undereye but the heavy scent was not comfortable or pleasant. The tube is .5 fluid oz and with such a small amount, I would expect it to perform better than many beauty products. The cream works under makeup and does add some moisture. The ingredient profile also contains ingredients that can be found in everyday beauty care products- There are a few that are unique such as European blueberries and alfalfa. Based on my experience with beauty care products, I would not order this again and this would not be among my top choices for recommendations.

Me, Myself, and Eye
As I am *ahem* getting older, eye cream is becoming one of those things that has made its way into my daily life. I remember the good old days, where I could just slather some kind of moisturizer on my face and walk away. Now, I need more stuff. I've become that woman. This is an eye cream that feels good. As you'd expect, it is a small tube of product, and one little dot will go a long way (considering the area you're treating is fairly small). It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave the area feeling funky, particularly if you're putting makeup on over top. I will say this: it does tingle on my skin about 45 seconds after application, but it's not painful and it doesn't cause any kind of discoloration/rash. I kind of like it, as it suggests to me that it's working (even if it's all in my head).

Works well but smells very strongly of perfume.
I have very sensitive eyes and often find eye products irritating. I haven't had any irritation issues with this Alchemie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm, it seems very mild. It absorbs into the skin nicely and doesn't feels greasy. The product feels very hydrating and I do notice that my skin is less dry under my eyes after using this eye balm. I do appreciate that it is formulated in Switzerland using botanical ingredients and made in the USA. The packaging is simple and dispenses easily. My gripe with this Rejuvenating Eye Balm from Alchemie Forever is that it smells very strongly of perfume. To me, the scent smells synthetic which makes me question the other ingredients used and integrity of this product in general. I am sensitive to smells and having the strong scent of this eye balm on my face is a deal breaker for me. If strong perfume scents don't bother you, this eye balm could be a good choice.
