Worked perfectly! And comes with two patterns!
Latest update: I have to remove a star from my original five-star rating. The nail polish doesn't stay on for long :(I saw this kind of nail polish some years ago and thought it was really cool. My wife wanted to get it but it was a bit too pricey at the time so she never got it.Times have changed and we were able to finally get these. As UPS dropped off the package, my wife tackled him and grabbed the box because she was so excited. She ripped the box wide open and started doing her nails right there in the grass. Okay, okay that's not really true. But she was really excited and did try it out right away - the UPS guy was not harmed.I'm a dude so pink is pink. I ordered pink and the product is pink. Looks good. In the bottle, and when it is first applied, it looks like regular metallic nail polish. No big deal, right? Well, they include two different magnets, each with a different design. After the polish is applied to the nails, you have to immediately place the magnet over the nail while being careful to not actually touch the nail with the magnet. Hold it there for a little bit (I think it said 15 seconds), then it magically has a cool design. I think it's really cool how it does that.My six year old daughter was amazed just as much as I was. Actually, maybe a little less than I was. Lol. We told to get to bed early and then if mommy and her wake up early enough before school, then she can have her nails done with Magnetix. She's pretty excited. Yes we are very excited family tonight...haha. Seriously, it's pretty cool. My daughter said she can't wait to go to school to show her friends.I received this product at a discount in exchange for me to try it out and leave an honest, unbiased review.

Looks like the swirls came in the polish that way
At first, I have to admit, I wasn't too sure about this. I got it because the color was beautiful. Now that I have used it and learned how to properly work the magnet, this has become my favorite by far.The color is a metallic purple and the magnet makes this wonderful swirl pattern in the polish. Not like a painted on swirl, more like the-polish-came-that-way look. I used Big Bang Blue over the top. It added the slightest blue shimmer to the negative spaces in the swirl. Lovely.I do wish there was more information and / or directions regarding the use of the magnets. "Holding it as close to the wet nail without actually touching it for 15 seconds. . ." It did not say which direction to hold the magnets, nor which side to use. It also did not mention how to cover the whole nail with the pattern. The pictures reflect the best of ten fingers, considering this was my very first time ever using a product like this, it did not turn out too bad. Will be better next time.Regardless, I love this nail polish. It can be very casual and at the same time very glamorous as well.I purchased this item at a discount or for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review

Pretty, but not the easiest to work with
This polish works, but there is a definite learning curve to getting the most out of it. To get any effect, the magnet has to be held to the polish almost immediately. I took a before picture of my thumb, and that was enough time for the polish to dry enough that the magnet was ineffective. Normally I like fast drying polishes, but in this case it’s a bane instead of a boon. Also, a thick layer of polish is needed, and there’s no time for finesse, so be ready for some serious cleanup afterward. The magnets have to be held maybe a millimeter away from the polish for the design to turn out. I found it impossible to not touch the wet polish at that distance while trying to hold the magnet that close and still for 15 seconds. With practice I might be able to do it. Maybe. Out of ten nails, one turned out really nice, and two others turned out alright. The others were not so good. It’s kind of trial-and-error to figure out the best way to get the patterns to work. I had to tilt the magnet back and forth to get it to effect my whole nail. I feel like maybe the magnets could stand to be a bit stronger, but then again maybe if they’re too strong they would just turn the polish into a muddled mess instead of a nice pattern.I had the most success with the straight lines pattern, and found it easiest to work with. The three nails that turned out alright were all that pattern. The wavy lines are more of a challenge. It didn’t seem to want to pattern the top third of my nails. The nail polish itself goes on smoothly, and is a lovely color. It has a nice metallic shimmer even without any patterning, and with a pattern it reminds me of tiger’s eye in how the pattern shimmers and seems to move.Product sample provided at a discount for evaluation and reviewing purposes.

Patience & Practice for Pretty Nails!
This is a really unique product! I have never had magnetic nail polish, so this war really fun to play with! I am currently trying to grow my nails, so I always keep them nicely polished so I don't bite them. First, this is a super nice color! It has some sparkle and shimmer in it is a a nice purple-ish color. It is pretty self explanatory how the magnet and nail polish works. However, it does take some trial and error to get maximum effect from the magnet without bumping the polish. The polish also dries very quickly, so you have to do each nail individually. I actually removed the actual magnet from the rubber grip holder and find that to work much better. I just put the magnet back in so I don't mix up the magnets. The product works fabulously as long as you are patient with the polish if it doesn't work the first time! Note: I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my totally honest review of the item.
