Desert Steel Magnolia Flower Hanging Bird Feeder - (White - 14" L x 10" H x 6") - Loose Seed Metal Birdfeeder

Bought for my mother's birthday. She loves it. I had previously purchased one of these from another seller and never received it, but saw the reviews finally show up after waiting for about 3 weeks. It was small and flimsy, and glued with a hot glue gun and the everyone hated it. This one is sturdy and the perfect size. Definitely purchase from Desert Steel and not a knock off company. Worth every penny. Super easy to put together. You can bend the petals out further as well to make it easier for birds to stand on. LOVE it!

This actually exceeded expectations. So easy to put together, nice size, seems very sturdy and well made. Already saw a blackbird peeking thru my dense leafy hedges to sample seeds and peanuts. Hoping small birds discover it away from other feeders where the doves congregate. Time will tell if the rain effects the metal, but it looks so lovely now. Ordered a second one with a open feeder attachment, more accessible and purple. Would make a great gift for a bird lover with back yard garden.

It is so cool. The pics don’t do it justice and looks great in our garden. Not sure I’ve noticed a ton of birds eating the seeds from this, but we also have several other feeders that have been around longer.

This bird feeder was very nice. I read lots of reviews on similar feeders of different brands and they had bad reviews, but this feeder is well made and durable. I just wish they made it in blue.

The metal work on this is pretty cool, with interesting and varied textures, but it is not balanced or well-constructed. I thought this base could be burried in the ground to install in a flower bed, but the stem is hollow pipe instead of solid, so the base is too short and light to provide proper support for the heavier, solid steel flowerhead. Also, the provided hardware did not prevent the petals from loosening and falling sideways, but at least once they touched the ground they provided more support and the thing hasn't fallen over since then. And the seeds do get wet, so the birds avoid this feeder except in dry weather.My grandma still loves it.If you purchase, plan your install accordingly!

Birds flock to this lovely addition hung in front of my dingroomvwindow. Filling the cup with songbird food has attached more songbirds...an added bonus to the excellent quality and aestics of this feeded. I heartfully recommend!!

I LOVE my new bright fuschia coneflower bird feeder and have already gotten many compliments on it!The only two items I would comment on that could be improved are that the stake part of the feeder that goes into the ground could be sharper and longer. When I first put it out, I had a little squirrel who tipped it multiple times. Once I realized I had to really step it into the ground and compact the soil around the bottom, the problem was resolved.The other little problem I noticed recently is that the seed inside the feeder cup does get wet. I had a few clumps of "stuck together" seeds in it when I went to refill it, and so I fished them out and replaced with fresh seed. If you have to dump out the cup, you would have to take the whole thing out to dump it. It's easiest to refill it with a cup of seed from the top. I think if the top were more solid, maybe rain couldn't get into where the seeds are.It is so darn cute, that I don't really even care if the seeds stay dry, I'd be happy to just leave it empty, but it is definitely cuter with the birds pecking seeds out of the blossom.
