A fun fast paced detective story that will make kids laugh out loud
This is a great detective story for primary school children. Anisha's personality leaps off the page, completely realistic for a girl of her age and the various embarrassments caused by grown ups in her life that kids of that age can easily relate to. My girl laughed out loud A LOT. Fun, quick paced and exciting, children will love racing round with Anisha and her friend Milo as they get into all sorts of scrapes and try to discover who really kidnapped Uncle Tony. Great fun!

I got this to be read to a year 4 class in my school. I know all the class will love it. It’s got an inspirational protagonist and a tightly plotted tense story. Also, will be a great way of learning a few Hindi words along the way. Every supporting character is great too. Definitely recommended.

Exciting, Fun, Hilarious! A great read for children!
My girls (9 year and 6 year old) simply adore Anisha and Milo and love the whole series. They know each book by heart now. The books are fun and entertaining but also encourage critical thinking and highlight STEM subjects, which is a bonus. These books are enjoyable to children from all backgrounds. It is also a great book for British Indian girls who now have a central character in a book, that they can relate to. Someone who has a big family and eat parathas for lunch, marvellous :)

A brilliant story full of fun!
This is great. It’s full of colour, personality and mystery! I loved the illustrations through out and the interesting layout. Plus I love a book with a footnote to teach me things about other cultures. Yay for diverse characters and family backgrounds! If this is gonna be a series, I’m gonna be delighted!

7 Yr old: 'I don't just like it... I LOVE it!'
I bought this for my 7 year old, and it's her absolute favourite. She raved about it right from the first chapter and is now having me read it to her. I especially love listening to her giggles as I read. Brilliant and funny, with little Indian culture details that might be new to us, a gem of a find. We are eagerly anticipating the second book; I hope to hear much more from this author in the future.

Love this book and the follow up story too
I absolutely loved reading this book with my little one. It was great to learn about different family traditions, but the real beauty of these books is the writing. You can feel the effort that has gone into making the story engaging and the 'twists and turns' of the story leave you wondering what will happen next. We are about to order the 3rd book, and looking forward to reading it. I'd highly recommend this book.

Some humor+ spying= satisfied read
My son 7yrs old and I , like this book. Here are the few reason that appealed me to write the review. No unnecessary description of some events. Perfect vocabulary for 7year old ( good reader).Language is genuine eventhough the plot involves some undesirable events. The fonts are big enough for my kiddo to read easily. The length of the book is less so the kid doesn't lose interest in reading.Ofcourse, It has happy ending. My kid finished reading this whole in 2days.
