Great Jackfruit!
Bit pricey - but I can't find this anywhere else at the moment. Having said that, there is no waste when making tacos because I don't have to chop it up and discard the hard outer bit. Holds flavour. Came quickly and well packaged.

I was very pleasantly surprised.
I have only just started cooking with jackfruit having been a vegetarian for a number of years and I was impressed with it. No more pretending to meat products for me this is much nicer with no after taste. It made sauce for spaghetti and I fried it with onions to have with mashed potato, yummy 😋.

Best jackfruit available
We have tried several brands of jackfruit and this is by far the best. I have noticed that the size of the fruit varies from can to can, meaning some have smaller pieces and the next might be larger pieces but it's not a problem for me. Anyone who doesn't want it shredded has the option of the young green jackruit which is larger chunks. One can of the shredded jackfruit combined with a third cup chickpea flour and some spices will make 4 to 6 burgers that IMO are way better and healthier than the shop bought vegan burgers. It also is great in vegan tuna recipes that our kids love. Also, the price of these are around 70p cheaper than some of the retailers in the area where the price is around £3 per can. Will be ordering more to make sure we don't run out!

Was a bit disappointing when I opened the tin as it was was in small bits,I thought the peices would be larger.
